The Mojo Tour is a unique, high-energy musical tour of Memphis, a city that’s given the world three great genres of popular music: blues, rock ‘n’ roll, and sweet Southern soul. Led by professional Beale Street musicians and featuring live music, comedy, history, and storytelling, the tour brings this famed musical heritage to life on the nation’s only music bus.
Along the way you’ll see such famous landmarks as Sun Studio, Beale Street, Stax Studio, the Lorraine Motel, Cotton Row, Peabody Hotel, Overton Park, and the early homes of Elvis and B.B. King. It’s no accident that legends like Elvis, Johnny Cash, BB King and Otis Redding all got their start in the city known as the Home of the Blues: find out how it all went down on this entertaining tour of Memphis’ greatest hits.

Worthwhile tour, especially thanks to our singer/guitarist/tour guide (Dave, I believe.) He was a talented performer who nicely tied in his musical numbers with knowledgeable commentary on the included sites.

Overall excellent. I was distracted by the performer’s little traveling tinny guitar. Good storytelling and singing 😊

Our traveling musician was Cecil. He was very friendly and immediately gained the entire groups attention. Lota of wit and interesting stories. Great voice and lively entertainer. It was a pleasurer to have suck a successful guide at Sun Studios. Elexis Grace, herself famous from American Idol, added a very respectful history of the studio.

Great way to see the city and learn a little history. Mix of history and music made it fun. 1.5 hour length is perfect. We had a large group and activity levels varied. This worked for everyone. Also good for any weather.
