Pemuteran is located in a small village on Bali’s north coast, next to the Bali Barat National Park. Protected as part of the Bali Barat National Park, Menjangan Island has some of Bali’s healthiest coral reefs. Its also a snorkelers paradise thanks to calm, sheltered conditions, warm, tropical water and some of the best visibility seen in all of Bali.
Our local guide will bring you to the best snorkeling sites of Menjangan Island.
Our boat are fast and efficient. It will be a day to remember!

What To Expect
Menjangan Island, in the Bali Barat National Park, is a very popular diving and snorkeling destination. Dense coral growth and schools of fish in the shallows make it also extremely suitable for snorkeling. The Day trip to the island leave at 9am in the morning and we will bring you back between 2- 3 in the afternoon. It takes around 40 minutes by boat to get to Menjangan. We do two snorkel sessions of an hour each at the island. All our snorkeling tour are guided. We will provide you with lunch, fruit, water and drinks. MENJANGAN MARINE PARK FEE TO BE PAID IN CASH ON THE SPOT. IDR 215,000 per person. plus additional IDR 100,000 on Sundays and public holiday.

5.00Thanks Karin and crew this is our 3rd time out with you to the island over two trips to the area (staying at Sumberkima Hill Retreat). An awesome amazing day from the pick up from our accommodation, to the trip out, the lunch and the snorkelling. This is a very professional operation and very well run. Safety briefings throughout the day and an excellent guide for our snorkelling. Always checking we were ok and pointing out interesting marine life, we saw so many amazing fish and the coral garden was beautiful. We had 3 divers and 4 snorkelers on our boat. I was watching the divers and the attention to detail and individual attention from the instructors. If I was thinking of diving to try, I’d feel very well looked after and safe. But I’m just into the snorkelling. You have a choice of lunch, we had the nasi goreng box and it was delicious. We left at 9am and came back about 2pm. We had over 2.5 hours in the water, exploring the reef and that was more than enough. The fish 🐠 were amazing and plentiful. We saw mackerel, nemo fish, angel fish, grouper. Blue fish, parrot looking fish, brown fish, stripy fish, tiger striped fish every colour fish. Be sure to wear a T shirt or proper rash shirt and apply sunscreen to the back of your legs. Sun is harsh. Karin’s 75 year old mum came out on the trip too and put some of us to shame with her skills!

5.00It was a fantastic day on the water. We were only a few on the boat and had a snorkel guide for our small group. We had 2 snorkeling stops around Menjangan island. It was really good that we stopped where there were only a few other boats. Our guide was really good at showing us fish, turtles etc. On the way we had a delicious lunch. This is the 2nd time we book at Bali diving Academy. That is a clear recommendation from here.
The most beautiful bottom of the top... And here it’s all a say!😄

5.00From picking up to dropping off such an awesome snorkeling experience! The boat is a fast speed boat the guides are experienced food that we picked up from the Waring in Pemuteran was great! We had a lucky day where we started snorkeling right when a school of mackerel swam by. Because there was a lot of krill, we saw so many colorful fish. Definitely worth it!

5.00I made a reservation for Menjangan snorkeling and enjoyed it. I arrived early, but they welcomed me warmly and gave me a seat so I could eat the breakfast I brought with me. Coincidentally, there were only two people snorkeling, me and my friend, so it was like a one-on-one guide, and they let us know if there were turtles or strange fish, which was really nice! It was so good that I wanted to go to Menjangan again next time! I highly recommend it!

5.00Roger looked after us and he was so easy going and explained how they look after the reef to ensure it’s protected for future generations. During the snorkel he pointed out many different fish species - very enjoyable trip. October is a great time to go.

5.00I would highly recommend you this dive center. My snorkeling day was perfect, reliable and professional people with good English, very good food for lunch as well As the first minute I entered the dive shop I could see that I was at the right place. Karin (Caren for locals 😉) who is in charge of the dive shop is a great person and I am very happy to have met her, she was really nice to me and helped me to resolve an issue I was struggling with. Without her for sure the rest of my holidays would not have been the same.
