On this Private Sunset and Dolphin Tour, you will experience our Bottlenose Dolphins while searching for other marine life such as Manatees, Sea Turtles and Sharks as well as viewing our local tropical birds such as our Parakeets, Pelicans, Blue Herons, Egrets and Ospreys. We will boat in and around many different Islands and Keys that make up Boca Ciega Bay, go past beautiful oceanfront mansions owned by former professional athlete and celebrity homes on Tierra Verde and boat under the Pinellas Bayway Bridge that connects Isla Del Sol Island to St. Pete Beach, one of the top rated beaches in America. Finally we will head out to the open Gulf of Mexico for an unobstructed view of our majestic sunset.

What To Expect

St. Pete Beach

On this relaxed trip, we will cruise in and around many different Islands and Keys on Boca Ciega Bay in route to to the open Gulf of Mexico to experience a majestic, unobstructed view of our Florida sunset. This is a BYOB trip so feel free to bring your favorite beverages and snacks, we’ll provide the bottled water for you!

This was an exceptional experience on the water at sunset. Our Captain and his First Mate were lovely and excellent hosts and historians. We were able to see dolphins and other marine wildlife. Captain Joe also provided a list of local recommendations to our party — which was incredibly helpful since this was our first time in this area. The sunset was gorgeous! He took photos for us, too! We chose this experience, while staying at the Don CeSar, and were dropped off, after the experience, near our hotel. Highly, highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our sunset cruise with Captain Joe! He was a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging captain and the views were 10/10. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Saint Pete area!

Went to Tampa for a 4 day vacation and decided to end it Thursday May 29 with the evening sunset/dolphin cruise. We had a very enjoyable time on board. Along with seeing dolphins and some great scenery, Captain Joe was terrific as our tour guide. He explained in detail what we were going to see and do. Very personable and even offered to take pictures and air drop them to our phones. I would highly recommend Captsin Joe and his cruise package!

We had an absolutely incredible private sunset boat tour in Saint Petersburg! From start to finish, everything about the experience was seamless, relaxing, and breathtaking. Our captain Joe was professional, funny, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area — sharing fun facts and pointing out wildlife along the way, including dolphins that swam right alongside the boat! Highly recommend!

Captain Joe is an amazing personality and speaks vividly about the area. His relaxation shines through and contagies, along with the beautiful nature. Instruction, safety and “captain’s rules” were given with great confidence and naturalness. It is only recommended that you take on an early morning trip and see dolphins, sea cows and sunrise along with humorous Captain Joe.

I would give this tour 10 stars if I could. Captain Joe was absolutely amazing and he made our trip extra special. We all had the best time celebrating our friend’s birthday. We will be back.

Insanely amazing time! This was my third time booking with captain joe and he never fails to bring an amazing experience. Knowledgeable and safe he always makes sure his guests are comfortable and their needs/wants are met to the best of his ability. So pleasant to spend time with and really puts his customers first. No matter what tour you do you’re sure to see some cool stuff and enjoy yourself leaving all the worries of the world on the dock. 10/10 experience would recommend and will definitely be back thank you!
