We are located in the heart of the city of Merzouga. You can find everything within a few seconds of walking: markets, cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The dunes are a 10-minute walk from the hostel and are accessible at any time, while the nomad camps and the black desert are more easily accessible by camel or mountain bike.

What To Expect
Our Berber stay is located in a traditional Berber house. It has private rooms that overlook an open courtyard where you can see the stars at night. At the back, overlooking the desert, you will find a second yard where it is possible to have a fire in the evening during the winter time.

5.00I was with my wife in Marzouga and we had an unforgettable experience there. Late in the evening we arrived spontaneously with a very nice family – Ali and his mother warmly welcomed us and gave us accommodation for a really very reasonable price. Ali also organized our desert trip for us. The next day we were picked up right on the doorstep and taken to the camels. From there we set off into the desert with a very friendly young guide. It was a fantastic experience – he told us a lot about Marzouga, took pictures of us and took a lot of time. At sunset we stopped on a high dune and were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset in the desert – an unforgettable moment. Afterwards we continued to the tents Ali had booked for us. There a delicious dinner was prepared for us. The night in the desert was calm and magical – we enjoyed the silence and watched the stars. Later, everyone gathered, made music and danced together – just a dreamlike experience. The next morning we were brought back with the camels after breakfast and then driven back to the accommodation by car. Overall we had a wonderful time in Marzouga. The people we met there were incredibly friendly and warm. An experience we will never forget!

5.00Ali took us on the camels through the desert and what an experience it was, literally once in a lifetime type of experience. Ali made my wife and I very comfortable with many stops for rests, pictures and water breaks whilst he led us to our desert glamping spot. Amazing!

5.00Once again I have returned to Morocco and have trusted Ishmael our guide, the treatment is excellent, I feel I can trust him and I do not have to worry about anything just enjoying. He takes care of everything, the accommodation, the meals, the excursions, the camp the quad bikes, the dromedary everything I want to include in my travels he gets me. I'll be back soon and I'll definitely contract everything with him again. Unbeatable.

5.00Ismail's house is well located near the Sahara dunes in this small village of Merzouga. The room is comfortable and clean, and I am made very welcome by him and his family. It's very quiet to rest. I will come back for other holidays for sure !

5.00We had a great time with Ismail, the guide who showed us the most beautiful part of the desert, a happy and close person, more than our guide was part of the family. The experience in the haimas and activities was 10, which improved greatly with the presence of Ismail. If we had to rate it we would lack numbers to do so. Thank you very much for everything, without a doubt we will continue exploring the desert with you again!! 🤍🤎

5.00It has been a unique, magical and unforgettable experience. We were received by Ismail, a host of 10, very friendly, who made us feel at home, very attentive to everything and ensuring that we would not miss anything, he gave us a guide to the most relevant places and clarified every doubt we could have , has made stops in incredible places, the haimas where we spent the night very comfortable, and the food very good. One of my colleagues even had a jacket left and she did it because she will arrive in Marrakech before our departure. Without a doubt I recommend 100% and I will return! I take with me unique memories and one more family. Always grateful for your treatment.
