We will start off the day in an organic Tortilleria and watch the whole process of making tortillas from scratch, learn about the story of the nixtamalization process, and how deeply maiz is embedded in the Mexican culture. We will continue on a walking tour through the charming Condesa and Roma neighborhoods, discover and taste a wide variety of authentic regional tacos from across Mexico, and learn about their history. We will also explore a local market where you will learn about some of the staple ingredients used in Mexican cuisine.
There is no better way to wash down tacos with a delicious agua fresca or a cold beer. We will finish with amazing Mexican coffee and artisanal chocolate.

The tour is very dynamic, we can mix and change attractions as the tour goes on. We can also accommodate the experience for different dietary restrictions.

We had an incredible taco tour in Mexico City with our Mensch Jorge, who made the entire experience unforgettable. Somehow the tour was both exciting and deeply relaxing at the same time. The food was absolutely amazing, but what really set this experience apart was the way Jorge blended culture, history, and family tradition into every stop along the way. The four of us were part of a group of eight on the tour, and each of us walked away with a completely different “favorite” part of the experience, which says a lot about how thoughtfully the tour was put together. We also made friends with the rest of the group! Jorge didn’t just tell us about the food. He shared the stories behind it, the traditions, the families, and even introduced us to some of the people preparing the dishes. It made every bite feel meaningful and authentic. This was so much more than a food tour. It felt like a genuine introduction to the heart of Mexico City and its people. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City. The taco tour was incredibly well organized, and every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. We tried a huge variety of tacos — from classic al pastor to some amazing regional specialties — and everything was delicious. Our guide was fantastic: super knowledgeable about the food, neighborhoods, and history of the city, while also making the whole experience fun and relaxed. What really stood out was how much local culture was woven into the tour. It didn’t feel touristy at all — more like exploring the city with a friend who knows all the best spots. We also appreciated the pacing and the balance between eating, walking, and learning about the neighborhoods. Come hungry because there is a lot of food. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting CDMX.

This was an awesome taco tour! We got lucky and had Avidan (the owner of the company) as our guide. He crafted a great itinerary, starting with a demonstration of traditional tortilla making and ending with coffee and a delicious chocolate dessert. I lost track of how many different tacos we tasted in between, but there were a lot and they were all so good! Avidan clearly knows what he's talking about and is very well-connected in the city. Each taco had a story and the tour really showcased the variety of different tacos that you can find in CDMX. I highly recommend this tour and this company!

I’d give this 10 stars if I could. Avidan was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I felt like by the end we had found a new friend. He offered up plans for the remainder of the vacation. The food was delicious and he took us to places I would never have ventured into. This was the highlight of our trip!!

We had a very nice tour with Avidan himself. He showed us around Roma Nord and Condesa and we had some very good Tacos! From how tacos are produced and the many different ways tacos can be made. You really feel the passion of Avidan for food and to share that with other people. We found him very authentic and super sympatic. He was very patient with our two kids (6 and 4 years old) and included them in the tour. Since we stayed in Condesa for our visit of CDMX we also got a lot of other useful information about the area in parallel. Thank you once again Avidan!

This is a really good tour. Avi knows his tacos and local culture. We had 5 tacos at four stops, and a pastry + coffee to end the tour. The length of the tour is just right, but wanted to learn even more about the many areas we visited. Price is not cheap, but would recommend it.
