Daniel was our guide today and he did a great job! One of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. First, we visited the teleferico (cable car). We highly recommend doing the extra short hike to the swing and vista point - that was a highlight! We then visited the Intinan museum which marks the true Equator. Lastly we visited the monument at Mitad del Mundo a short distance away. Daniel was informative, helpful, and great to talk with. We highly recommend booking this tour!

We had a great day of learning and adventure with Christian as our guide. Although the weather did not really cooperate (dense cloud coverage) with our initial plans, we were given a few different options to the cable car and were definitely not disappointed!! We would highly recommend using Llaminfo Travel as a great company to use for this adventure!!

Excellent visit to the Middle of the World. Worth going to both sites. The weather stopped us visiting cable car which was unfortunate.

This tour was a lot of fun and our guide Christian was exceptional. His smile and enjoyment in sharing his country with us was a major plus. We rode the cable car, hiked to the swings, and enjoyed a great view of Quito. After that we went to “Mitad del Mundo” and “Intinan” museum. Both were great with Christian acting as guide and interpreter. Tour took a little less than 6 hours and is highly recommended

First, I realized that there were two hotels in Quito and I sent a message to Viator. They were so kind and made arrangements to pick us up at the airport hotel instead of the one I had booked. Christian was our guide and he was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, fun and made the trip so enjoyable. We learned so much more than we would have should we have gone on our own.

This was a “spur of the moment” tour that I booked only 2 days beforehand and am glad I did. It was a good tour for me because I was traveling in Quito on my own without an organized tour group and it enabled me to visit some popular sites that were outside of the historic center where I stayed, but on the other hand did not take up the full course of a day. Ricky was an excellent guide who spoke good English and knew how to take the perfect pictures, in particular the one of me “holding the ball” at the Middle of the World monument. The Intinan Museum was particularly interesting even though I was unable to balance the egg on the nail. Although the weather was not ideal for the Teleferico and the clouds were coming in fast and furious, which obscured the view of Quito from the top, nonetheless it was great for the experience. Indeed our timing was perfect because it started to rain very hard the minute we got down from the cable car. I would not recommend the Teleferico on a rainy day though because it could suddenly be shut down leaving you stranded on top for several hours until after the rain stops. I am almost sure that it was shut down shortly after we left.

Cable car was good fun but you may need to take things a easier at this altitude. Middle on the world (Intinan) was good mix of history, science and fun.
