Pululahua Volcano & Geobotanical Reserve
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and we'll head northwest of the city. Our first stop will be the Pululahua Lookout, one of the few inhabited volcanoes in the world. Here, the guide will explain the geological history of the volcano and how its caldera was formed, which is now a Geobotanical and Conservation Reserve. After viewing the Pululahua volcano, we'll head to an area of cloud forest, where we'll take a short, relatively easy hike to the Rayo waterfall.
After the waterfall, we'll go to the Alambi Reserve, a paradise for bird lovers. This reserve is famous for the wide variety of hummingbirds, tanagers, and toucans you can observe. To end the day, we'll head to the famous Middle of the World City. During the journey, the guide will share interesting facts about the equator and the French Geodesic Mission that measured it in the 18th century. Once there, you'll have time to explore the equatorial monument. Here, you can take the traditional photo with one foot in each hemisphere. You can also climb the Middle of the World monument. From the top, you'll have a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire complex and the surrounding area. Inside the monument, you can visit a small museum that explains Ecuador's cultural diversity. After the visit, we'll return to the hotel.

I thought the monument was great, and the place too, although on the tour we came they brought us to the race and frankly they don't give importance to this monument (It's a tour that takes place at Hostel Secret Garden Quito) IT'S ONE OF THE BEST WHAT I DID, we escaped to take some photos, it was very beautiful, seeing the monument, it is one of the landmarks of Ecuador, (although it is worth clarifying that this is not the true center of the world, but rather it is in the Itiñan Museum) Both are worth visiting.
