By sunset in this old growth Swedish forest, we enter stillness and the sound experience of spring that brings the songs of the birds, water playing in the creeks and silence that lets our minds rest and our energy expand.
This is an experience tailored for all your senses.
This is VEGAN and ECO friendly. 30 minutes drive from the city.

At our Forest location we will:
• watch the sunset and the midnight sun
• visit a small village
• find a beautiful spot for our campfire
• share a meal cooked over the fire
• walk at a comfortable pace
• enjoy our company and conversation
• take lots of pictures
• ground and relax
• I will share history about Sweden
• connect with the elements of the forest

• Green tea and Swedish Fika (sweets)

What To Expect
Tyresta National Park
Welcome to join me to this hike that will take you along the paths and trails deep into the old primeval Swedish forest. We will explore its vegetation and wildlife, experience the healing properties and silence of nature and sit around our campfire and share a meal by a forest lake. This hike will take you back in time to a place when life was lived slower, more simple and you will get to experience the golden light of the Nordic midnight sun that lasts for hours. Here we will also visit a village from back in the days when it used to be an early settlement, with red painted log-houses remaining open for guests to spend some time and enjoy the traditional Swedish Fika. On this trip, You will visit one of the last remaining Virgin Forests. Walk on the trails that are easy and for everyone, in good condition. We will make a fire and cook some food together. Everything I bring to share to eat is vegan or vegetarian. This experience is Eco-friendly and by locals. Welcome to join me!

5.00Our first evening in Stockholm and what an amazing evening we had. Alexandra picked us up in central Stockholm, and a 30 min. drive brought us to Tyresta National Park, a beautiful old forest. Although we had rain almost the entire evening, it was a fantastic hike (thanks for lending us the poncho's Alexandra 🙏)! We walked at a pleasant pace over winding paths, sometimes stopping for Alexandra's explanations about the forest, the birds, sounds, and also sharing the silence together. Sitting by the campfire nearby the lake, was so peaceful and getting to know each other a little better through common interests made the evening even more special. It was fun preparing our hotdogs at the campfire, completed with delicious strawberries, fika and pine needle tea, Alexandra took such good care of us! We found it a very special experience that we can only recommend. We liked it so much that we also did the Sunset kayaking tour with Alexandra two days later.

5.00Love nature, hikes, sounds of the forest ? We found this amazing activity arranged by Alexandra our fantastic and knowledgeable guide. We were three of us and were picked up from central Stockholm around 6:15 pm and a 30 minutes drive outside the city brought us to Tyresta National Park & Nature reserve. We hiked through the forest stopping only to absorb the sights and sounds of nature. Observing the little frogs cross our path, navigating and walking over the path covered with thick roots growing for over hundreds of years. We took the trek at our own gentle pace. About 50 minutes into the walk we reached a gorgeous lake. The tranquility of the surroundings captivated us and we spent a wonderful time appreciating nature, campfire, cooking dinner on open fire and sharing travel experiences with another hiker we met at the campsite. Alexandra was very well organised with our dinner. She had meticulously packed a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes and desserts. The pine needle tea was absolutely amazing and matched the moment. We sat in silence appreciating the campfire and the lake before heading back. On the way back we heard the sounds of deer. Watched the solitary glow worm on a tree. Heard the frogs croaking. Beatles crossing the path or rather us trespassing their home. Sounds of silence. The white moss glowing in the twilight as if it was snow. It drizzled a bit on our way back but have to say we were completely refreshed after our walk back to the car. Our experience was enriched by Alexandra’s deep knowledge and understanding of the surrounding, history and the area. I must admit the twilight hike was one of the highlights and most memorable activity of our holiday. Highly recommended!

5.00It was amazing! We had such an amazing journey with Alexandra. We did a hike in the forest, it was beautiful. Then we arrived at a lake, which was amazing! We stayed there one night, we had a fire, we ate hot-dogs and we slept in a little cabine near the lake. Alexandra had everything, she was so organized, it was perfect. I will forever remember this journey.

5.00This is the perfect hike. Alexandra is amazing, friendly and sweet! She thought of everything : dinner, dessert, small cushions to put on the fireplace’s bench, tea,… We hiked in the most beautiful natural forest, and arrived to a lake that was so pretty!! She explained a lot of what we saw, like nature and animals, it was really interesting! Would 100% do it again!

5.00This adventure was nothing less than magical! Alexandra communicated well with me before meeting up. She is friendly and knowledgeable about the forest and brought all needed goodies for a comfortable experience. We hiked through the beautiful forest, enjoyed the spectacular lake views, cooked dinner over a campsite, had one tea she made at the site, and then returned during the twilight enjoying the gorgeous evening light and quiet forest. We even saw a moose! I highly recommend this expedition and would go on another tour with Alexandra next time I’m in Stockholm!
