If you intend to visit Milan, a must is undoubtedly Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. The great work of the Tuscan genius, preserved in the refectory next to the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, is one of the most studied and imitated masterpieces in the world, but also one of the most mysterious and discussed. Follow us on this guided tour, discovering the history and secrets behind the Last Supper and the splendid Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. During our guided tour of the Upper Room you will understand how every stroke, every detail, every brushstroke, every expression and gesture of the figures represented tells those “motions of the soul” of which Leonardo became the first inventor. And the Last Supper is sublimated from perfect painting to emotional narration.

I had a wonderful experience viewing The Last Supper—it was truly magnificent. Sylva was both deeply informative and genuinely passionate about the history, culture, and significance of the church and the surrounding area. Despite our group being quite large (about 40 people), she handled everything seamlessly. She managed all the administrative logistics, including guiding us through the check-in office, while keeping us informed and engaged every step of the way. Her organization, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the experience exceptional.

Good historical explanation in a small group setting. Was last minute, so a bit overpriced because of the tour. Will be cheaper in your own, but you may miss a lot of the history.

A real privilege to witness one of Leonardo's masterpieces, albeit for a short while due to conservation constraints. The adjoining chuch tour was equally interesting but longer. Laura was an excellent guide. Fluent and engaging and sharing just the right amount of historical information. Group was restricted to four people.

With the difficulty in getting tickets on your own, this experience with a guide and small group is worth the money and convenience. Liliana was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, though since your time inside is limited, I wish there had been a little more time built-in for individual wandering. You kind of need to break away from the group to do that if you want, but then you feel like you’re holding everybody up.
