What To Expect
Air Milford
Each tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from your centrally located Queenstown accommodation. After check-in completion, your pilot will give a thorough pre-flight briefing on the route and scenic highlights likely to be encountered, before embarking on your Scenic Flight to Milford Sound. The flight time to Milford Sound is 35 minuets.

5.00A truly memorable experience. Definitely worth the price if you are hesitant. Milford Sound is an awe inspiring place and to take only 45mins in the sky to get there from Queenstown meant being fresh on arrival. Air Milford staff ensured the adventure in the sky over snow-capped mountain peaks and sailing across the water seamless, spectacular, very safe and comfortable.

5.00They went out of their way to provide us with a very special experience. After a late start due to low cloud, once we got in the air the conditions were near perfect, the pilot went to 9000 ft and around Mt Tutoko before heading to the coast and Milford sound - the scenery was breathtaking. The cruise was also special, then another scenic trip home. A fantastic day and worth the $

5.00What a phenomenal day! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the email comms before we arrived from the UK, to the pick up, the check in process and to our superb pilot Cory. We were blessed with perfect weather and a wonderful Captain in Charlotte for the cruise. Definitely the highlight of our trip. As the psalm said on the plaque in the cockpit "The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

5.00Treat yourself and take the flight! Alternatively, the drive from Queenstown is 4-5 hours - the flight is unbelievable! We had a clear day and pictures of the mountains didn’t do it justice- the cruise was also amazing with multiple waterfalls in full action A definite highlight of our entire NZ trip

5.00The team at Air Milford was great through the whole process - from booking, to transportation to their location and the flight/cruise itself to the transportation back to my starting point. Super helpful team and everyone was so positive and cheerful. The weather was beautiful so can't beat that. The flight was fairly smooth and the views of New Zealand from above were breathtaking! Totally recommend. The cruise was just the small group of us - about 24, so plenty of room to walk around and see the sights! What a treat it was to see a group of dolphins swim up to us and play around the boat. The kiddos on the boat loved it! The flight home was just as smooth and enjoyed the different views we got to see on the way back! Very relaxing way to get to the Milford Sound instead of by car on a windy road!
