What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00Well organized tour, efficient and a great opportunity to see things from a new vantage point and save time on the bus! Pilot Jason was safe and engaging with his passengers. Cruise was great, we saw tons of dolphins and even a baby seal. Food and drink on board the very comfortable cruise boat. Will recommend to others!

5.00Loved everything about this experience. The tour operator, True South Flights, runs a super smooth operation from end to end. While the price for the fly-cruise-fly tour from Queenstown to Milford Sound is a bit pricey, if you can afford it, DO IT. The scenery is spectacular. Our pilot Jason was friendly, knowledgeable and an awesome pilot. Our flight was smooth and flawless. We were very lucky as the weather was ideal for visibility. The cruise itself was breathtaking. We lucked out again as we saw dolphins, seals, rainbows and several waterfalls. Our experience was idyllic.

5.00Many people say you have never been to New Zealand if you haven't visited Queenstown. Let me tell you, you haven't been to New Zealand if you haven't experienced Milford Sounds by Flight and Cruise, with True South Flights. Absolutely worth the money, once in a lifetime experience. Let me tell you, this could be one of the most amazing places in the world, sometimes you ask yourself... But HOW, HOW can this actually be real. Luke our pilot was amazing. He made us feel safe and was very knowledgeable with the on-flight commentary. Thank You True South Flights.

5.00Tanmay was a wonderful pilot and while the craft was a bit loud so hard to hear anything he said we had. Glorious scenic flight. Prompt pick up by the bus and easy check in. The only thing (and this is minor!) would be the boat tour itself is quite huge. I don’t know if there are smaller boats you can take out but that is what I would look into for next time. All in all True South was absolutely phenomenal!
