Te Anau
We stop in the beautiful township of Te Anau for an extended break of 30-mins. We stop at a lakefront cafe so you can get a coffee/snack, use the bathroom and explore the stunning lakefront with mountain views.
Eglinton Valley
Eglinton Valley offers a stunning contrast of green, native bush covered mountains, against the foreground of tan fields. Guests will have a chance to explore the long lush fields. Beautiful at any time of the year.

5.00Just finished a very long day on the Milford Sound Tour. This tour is close to 12 hours so being in a luxury van with legroom mattered! Small group of 13 people allowed us to stop at places the big bus just can’t do. Adrian our driver was very informative. He asked us what we expected and hoped to see from the day and then worked to accommodate our requests. Overall a beautiful day and a great way to finish our time in Queenstown.

5.00Travels to Milford Sound with Luxe Tours. What a memorable day, from being picked up to being dropped off we were made to feel special by our driver/guide Tommy. Tommy made sure we were all comfortable and his knowledge made the trip even more special.This is a family owned small group tour company and I can't recommend them highly enough Thank you for a wonderful day.

5.00Holy cow! This trip was amazing. The views were stunning but what made the trip exceptional was Tommy and Luxe Tours! Tommy was so knowledgeable, enjoyable to listen to, and super helpful. The van was extremely comfortable and the accommodations like water, a delicious muffin, and gummies made the trip even sweeter! Such thoughtful touches. I almost didn’t do a trip to Milford Sound. I’m so grateful I did, especially with Luxe Tours and Tommy!! The boat tour was great but I almost enjoyed the journey there more! A special thanks for taking my picture at stops since I was alone. 27,000 out of 10. Definitely recommend even if you’re only in Queenstown for a short time. Worth it!

5.00The Tour exceeded my expectations in many ways firstly as I was a little nervous about feeling claustrophobic in the minibus & feeling travel sick . This did not happen the luxurious van had a high roof, Tommy was a careful informative guide who communicated times to next stop etc so I relaxed immediately. Stunning scenic stops en route. Again Tommy knew his stuff & was full of interesting facts. Took family photos together for us. The Sound itself you are in the hands of the boats skipper & once again informative and wow the views are amazing. It was due to be 26 degrees but thankfully took a coat & woolly hat as once on the water it gets VERY windy. The drive back was relaxing & peaceful with a lovely snooze whilst someone else did the driving As for before the tour the team were very helpful. 100% recommend Luxe Tours

5.00Best trip ever. I did the 3 day all inclusive Milford Sound tour. Our guide was amazing. I was picked up after lunch and the sheep sheering demonstration. The drive to Te Anau was great staying off the main roads and driving in back country. Accommodations at Te Anau and breakfast included was great. Stops along the way to Milford Sound and then the boat through Milford Sound was spectacular. The new 3 day tour that only started in Oct. was well worth the money for everything that's included

The weather was terrible - heavy rain all day - but our wonderful driver and guide (coincidentally a fellow Brit) gave us a wonderful adventure, making the most of the atmospheric weather. The stops enroute were just right too and the Mercedes minibus was very comfortable.
