It is one of the most interesting places for national and international tourists. Inside is the Equatorial Monument, perched on Latitude 0º0’0 ”, in which you can be in two hemispheres at the same time. Its architecture is based on a characteristic sample of the colonial style.

This tour goes to the official historical monument abd the real equator nearby. Aurelio was exceptionally helpful. Note that he only speaks Spanish, but he knows where to go and the price is very reasonable for one or two people. He also arranged a transfer at my next stop, which my travel agent had been unable to do.
