  This was the most wonderful experience in the cloud forest. We were able to tell Hugo our interests and he plannned the day to fit that. Extra birds, extra animals , skip the chocolate factory and the chair lift. Hugo was also incredibly knowledgeable about plants and animals to the extent of knowing their botanical names. It was also nice to have a car to ourselves, and to program the entire day based on our interests.

  Miriam picked us up right on time from our hotel and expertly navigated us to many points of interest plus some extras! She was very welcoming and incredibly informative.   Danielle was an excellent God very knowledgeable about local birds. The drive there was part of the experience. We saw at least 10 to 12 species of hummingbirds. I would most highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in these activities.

  We enjoyed the information relayed on the area, the plants etc. We hiked to a waterfall, went to the butterfly garden [really special], rode the tram over the tree tops, had a great lunch, did some wine sampling and went to the humming bird farm.

  This was tailored to us - what level difficulty of hike and what combination of activities we wanted to do. We did medium hike inc waterfall, butterfly farm, chocolate tasting, hummingbirds and cable car. We had a marvellous day with Ximena - about 11 hours in total. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. This was our favourite trip in Quito as it had such variety and we were lucky to see hummingbirds, toucans, agoutis, squirrels and tayras all in one place. The chocolate tasting was hands on, informative and fun - even had a chocolate face mask! On the. Able car Ximena asked them to stop half way across so we could take some great pics. The scenery, information, wildlife, experience and company all great. The recommendation for lunch in Mindo at Serenity also very tasty!

  It was a magical day. Our guide Gerald, was fun and very knowledgeable. The chocolate experience was great, and the bird watching amazing!!
