We offer free pick-up within the Second Ring Road of Xi'an, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.

What To Expect
Xi'an
In the morning, your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby, and then accompany you on a 1-hour ride to the Terracotta Army Museum.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Spend at least 2.5 hours seeing more than 8,000 pottery soldiers, horses, and chariots in three burial pits, as well as myriad undisclosed collections in the special exhibition hall, knowing about their owners, the First Emperor of China 2,000 years ago. After the visit, enjoy a simple buffet lunch with Chinese dishes and soft drinks.

5.00I had a great time at Xian! Carol was our tour guide and she knows the history of Xian and Terracotta army! She is very pleasant and accommodating to us. I enjoyed learning about Xian’s history! We went to Terracotta army museum, Goose pagoda, Xian city wall and tried some food at Muslim quarters. No shops! Had a blast

5.00Very nice and well-organisier day-trip to the terracotta army, to the big Pagola, to the City wall and to the muslim street. Friendly and international small group of 12 people. The driver has picked us up fully in time at the hotel and drove safely from one place to the other. Our guide Lily was very friendly, her english was very fluent and clear. She provided a lot of intersting information and recommandation about the trip excursions but also „outside“ those with information about what to do in the evening or the next days, how to return to the hotel by his own, etc. More than a simple touristic tour, Lily made from it a nice cultural and human experience. All this despite a grey and rainy weather. Thanks a lot for that nice experience!

5.00On a cold and drizzly day it was remarkable how the day flew by on the 9 hour tour to the Terracotta Warriors and other select sites in Xi’an. The tour guide, Lily, was truly excellent and refreshingly charming. Lily knew her subject area so well and explained the history of the Terracotta Warriors to ensure you understood better what you were actually looking at. Couldn’t fault the tour, though not for the faint-hearted if you have an aversion to crowds or gift shops.

Xi'an provides the opportunity to see relics from the Qin, Han, and Tang Dynasties, including the world famous Terracotta Army and the site of Xuanzang's embarkment to India. It also gives the opportunity to try some excellent Xi'an style food like Biang Biang Noodles and Roujiamo. Tour guide Lily was highly engaging.

5.00I contacted more than 10 tour companies to find one that could provide an ambitious itinerary for Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai. Travel China Guide was the winner, their communication was constant and everything went smoothly without a hitch. From airport pick up to overnight trains to hotels and guides, everything was great! My mom does not walk well so time is precious. No time for trains or figuring out where to buy tickets. With the guide we were able to get to places quickly by car and understand what we were looking at. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to maximize their trip or have help to navigate China. I will use them again for our next trip!
