Very interesting place to go. The day we went was somewhat ruined by the weather but the guide, Victor, still made it come alive. I think the price is a little high for a park that is no bigger than two football pitches but it is worth seeing.

This tour was of incredible value and despite the cold November day, we are happy we visited the park. It was a good decision to visit the park with a professional live guide who combined guiding service and transportation from the city as the park is 10 miles from the city center. Victor, our guide likes what he is doing he loves this subject but only as history, he is happy that this crazy dictatorship is over and he told interesting but horrible stories of communist times as he spent his childhood in communist Hungary and explained the propaganda purpose of the huge statues. We have learned that these huge monster statues were in public areas of Budapest from the end of the Second World War till the collapse of Communism in 1990. The ride from the city center to Memento the park was in a convenient van and the guide and driver even dropped us at our hotel Marriott in Budapest after the tour. This is a perfect tour for those who want to learn and experience how brainwashing worked behind the Iron Curtain. History lovers should not miss this tour. I highly recommend it
