The area is a very popular hiking spot for Osaka citizens.

This tour is a beautiful experience. Our excellent guide, Hide, explained everything imaginable, at a nice steady walking pace that made it quite easy. Highlights were the spectacular scenery along the way to the 33 m high waterfall , and an impressive celebration (Momiji Festival?) involving priests/monks lighting a slow burning fire and walking across a bridge to a temple. I wish I had written down the details of this important cultural event. The included meal was a choice between western and Japanese culture so that everyone who took this hike could make their own choice. It was a magnificent meal. Thanks so much Hide for taking such good care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful hike.

It was a wonderful relaxing hike to see Minoh Falls. We would definitely do it again as the scenery was breathtaking with all the Fall colors bursting out against the blue skies! The local Japanese lunch was delicious and we would not have experienced/found it if not for our guide, H. Azuma. He was very professional, funny, informative and patient with the pace of our walking. His timing of the trains was perfect! The weather was perfect...cool with blue skies and should be taken into consideration when deciding when to go. This is a place not to be missed!

Our guide came down sick and Ichiro stepped in to guide us to Minoh Falls! We loved him and the tour. Ichiro was so friendly and knowledgeable and very easy to talk to! It was so nice to get away from the city and see nature along with some cultural and historical experiences. The hike is not very hard and is paved the whole way. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a fun and different activity. Even my 22 and 25 year old sons loved it!

This was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Ichi, was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. His English was excellent. If he did not know the answer to a question he made the effort to find out. I recommend this tour 100 percent! It was a lot of walking but not too strenuous for a reasonably fit 66 year old.

This was a wonderful day away from the city. Hideoki was friendly and knowledgeable, spoke excellent English. He met us at our Osaka hotel and guided us through the metro and train (we paid our own fare - about 1000 yen total) for the trip to Minoh. The nature trail begins right in town, and is a gentle, paved trek through the forest to the waterfall. Lunch afterwards was included - he asked if we wanted Japanese or Western - and then a return to Osaka. He offered to take us to a shopping district- we were still suffering from jet lag so we declined but it was a kind offer. We fully recommend both the tour and Hideoki.

Great walk through some very scenic landscapes up to the falls. Steep climb but easy walking. You may be lucky enough to see some monkeys. Our guide Hideoki was fantastic and the Japanese lunch wonderful

A lovely day out with our guide Hichiro-san who was very friendly and knowledgeable. It made a pleasant day away from doing city tourism. A very recommended nature walk.
