During the visit, clients will be able to analyze and taste each of the grapes directly from the vines and identify the differences in their acidity, sweetness, maturity time, harvest time, among other aspects, which will make their visit unique, since The whole process will be explained to them from the time the grapes are harvested until the wine is bottled.

Then they will go through the winery where each of the stages of the production process will be explained to them, from the crushing of the grapes, to the fermentation, filtering and bottling process.

Then in the tasting you will taste our wine Encierra Vineyard Reserve, Encierra Carmenere, Rosé and our Icono Porel wine

Our product is private and is marketed through a registered trademark.

The visit lasts around 1 hour and the main reason why you should book with us is because you will have the experience of being in a boutique vineyard, attended by its own owners and tasting each of the wines we produce.

What To Expect

Vina Encierra

You will visit the winery where we will tell you the history of the vineyard and its ancestors with details that you will never forget. We will tour the vineyards, you will learn about the vines, their differences and then you will taste the wines made from them. Finally, you will visit the family chapel where the ashes of the founder rest.

A beautiful location to enjoy an interesting visit and wine tasting. Ines, who showed us around the winery and hosted the wine tasting, was very knowledgeable and is clearly passionate about her craft. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

An incredible experience, all well organized by the guide Inés Patrón who told us about the history, process and production of the wine. In addition to tasting and sharing, we enjoyed an incredible country barbecue, enjoying a pleasant wine and a wonderful view. Highly recommended.

We had the best experience you can have and the best, Ines! An expert in everything, in every detail, she explained everything about the vineyard to perfection, she even took us to the beautiful Chapel they have, then we tasted several exquisite wines accompanied by a wonderful cheese board. Then he made us a perfect picnic, even with a nice detail for my daughter's birthday, I was really impressed with the Vineyard and especially with all the kindness of Ines, the best guide we have ever had. I recommend taking the tour with Ines, you will not regret it, and if you can, the picnic is highly recommended. La Viña Encierra is wonderful.

The winery is located in the Lampe Valley, a key red wine producing area in Chile. It is small in scope but has beautiful scenery. The fine wine produced is different from the common flavors on the market. It uses a single variety of Cabernet and has a very smooth taste, which is worth savoring. We booked an outdoor BBQ at the winery that day and had a very enjoyable day.

As many of you know, the Colchagua Valley has many vineyards and vineyards, among which the most named is of course the Viña Santa Cruz, from Cardoen, whose relevance stands out not only for its extension but for the services it offers in their tourist tours. But if you are looking for a more personal and truly close experience, Viña Encierra is the best option. The extent of the vineyard is such that, without prejudice to its good production, it can and is worth exploring in part on foot. In fact, the place and its surroundings require a pedestrian tour, because only then can the views of this part of the Colchagua Valley, Peralillo, on the way to the coast, enter your heart through your eyes. The place itself was a very pleasant surprise, but this was emphasized by the kind and gentle company of the hostess, Doña Inés Patrón, who not only manages to take us among the vineyards, but also makes the visit instructive and pleasant. telling both about the origins of this vineyard and its connection with the ancient founding families of wine production, as well as the wine production process in the varieties they work with. The visit concluded with a wine tasting and its accompanying cheese board. But I think that the best accompaniment to good musts was cultured and pleasant conversation, like in the old days of inns and sales. Yes....good things come in small packages.
