During the visit, clients will be able to analyze and taste each of the grapes directly from the vines and identify the differences in their acidity, sweetness, maturity time, harvest time, among other aspects, which will make their visit unique, since The whole process will be explained to them from the time the grapes are harvested until the wine is bottled.
Then they will go through the winery where each of the stages of the production process will be explained to them, from the crushing of the grapes, to the fermentation process and later filtering and bottling.
After this we will taste the following wines: Encierra Vineyard Reserve, Encierra Carmenere and Rosé
Our product is private and is marketed through a registered trademark.
The visit lasts around 1 hour and the main reason why you should book with us is because you will have the experience of being in a boutique vineyard, attended by its own owners and tasting each of the wines we produce.

What To Expect
Vina Encierra
You will visit the winery where we will tell you the history of the vineyard and its ancestors with details that you will never forget. We will tour the vineyards, you will learn about the vines, their differences and then you will taste the wines made from them. Finally, you will visit the family chapel where the ashes of the founder rest.

5.00Excellent experience in Viña Encierra, we set off at 11:30 hrs and finished at 17 hrs, after a nice walk, cut clusters, trample on the grapes, lunch and finally a wine tasting, in addition to the visit to the Chapel and the history that they transmitted to us along this wonderful journey. All this, surrounded by a beautiful environment and the sympathy of a large group of 20 people with whom we share this experience.

5.00We discovered Vina Encierra at the 25th annual Colchagua Wine Festival. The team maning the show were fun, energetic and encouraged us to visit the winery on our way to Pichilemu. We took their word and stopped by for an early morning tour. Ines Patron rolled out the red carpet for us. The impressive history of how the family worked with world renowned famous wineries and then broke away to create their own gem was so beautifully portrayed. The wines we tasted in their lovely vineyard were exquisite. Their Carmenere was exceptional. A bottle of that and their late harvest Syrah travels along for a pleasant experience after the fact. This is a vineyard one must discover. No regrets!

History of wine and the family, we tasted several wines, very different and ended with the icon wine, all accompanied by a rich table and at the end a picnic with a beautiful view from the hill. Inés showed us the place and told the story of the vineyard and family, with a kindness and remarkable disposition, he cared at all times about our comfort and even that we arrived well in our city. Very good experience and highly recommended.

5.00Our favorite wine tour in Chile. We felt like a part of the family for the afternoon - actually meeting the wine maker and owner, Maria. Inés was an incredible host and storyteller - sharing her knowledge of the vineyard, long & storied history of the area, and honoring the wine making and family in such special ways. The property is beautiful and felt intimate - unlike many of the larger and even mid size production wineries. This place is special - the setting, the people, the experience. Oh, and the wines are also delicious! Award winning Carmenere and the refreshing rose were our favorites. Inés also assisted us in shipping several bottles back to the US - so we can take a piece of Encierra back with us (we have not found any other winery that offered this so it was a blessing!). Horseback riding and bike tours are also an option - but we opted to keep it simple with a tour and tasting and it will remain a highlight of our trip.
Highly recommended !!!!!

5.00We went for a special tour for Chile national days (18/09) and it was amazing. We received a warm welcome first by Inés and then walking through the vineyard with very beautiful view of the landscape. Following with the wine tasting of the Icon wine and finishing with a excelente lunch with barbecue
