The first thing you will do when you arrive is visit the winery where we will tell you the history of the vineyard and its ancestors with details that you will never forget.
Then we will tour the vineyards where you can taste the grapes of each of the vines, as well as learn to differentiate them by their leaves.
After that, we will descend to the winery again where you will visit the family chapel where the founder's ashes rest and
Finally we will arrive at the tasting place, where the following wines will be tasted: Encierra Vineyard, Encierra Rosé 2022 and Puquillay 2019.

Vina Encierra
You will visit the winery where we will tell you the history of the vineyard and its ancestors with details that you will never forget. We will tour the vineyards, you will learn about the vines, their differences and then you will taste the wines made from them. Finally, you will visit the family chapel where the ashes of the founder rest.

5.00Great visit and beautiful place in Colchagua, Peralillo! Marianela, who was in charge of the tour, A LOVE!!! Very nice visit!! Honest, authentic, nice stories of the family, the chapel, WONDERFUL!! Wines, fabulous too Cabernet Franc rose, very rich! Congratulations also on Cabernet Franc Texture!! Rich surprise!! To know something different in Colchagua outside the typical wineries, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Vineyard Encierra who just turned 25! WE MUST GO!!

5.00Very nice discovery of a beautiful family wine estate. Maria Ignecia and Antonio welcomed us warmly and we had a lot of pleasure to discover the cultivation of vines in Chile. They are passionate people who take the time to share. We enjoyed the tasting facing the rows of vines. The site is really beautiful. You can feel a family history that began a few generations ago and continues with their children. The wine is also a success, we particularly enjoyed the Encierra Reserve 2022👍. Vincent and Corinne

5.00Vina Encierra is a real gem! If you're looking for a small, family-owned boutique winery, in the area, you will not find anything better. Inez took my family and I on wonderful tour of the barrel room, production facility, family chapel, and tasting room, weaving an engaging narrative on the founding families and operations of a small farm production. She answered all our questions thoughtfully, and really brought the vineyard to life. The tastings were generous and delightful. I especially enjoyed the reserve port. Hoping it ships to the U.S. soon so I can serve at my wedding!

5.00We booked a horseback riding tour in November 2024 before a wine tasting. This was our favorite experience in the Colchagua Valley and a highlight of our trip to Chile. Inés and Don José gave my wife and I an extensive tour of the property where we learned about the history of the land, the vineyard, and the farmers in the Valley. The tour also lasted much longer than the time listed on our reservation - but we weren't complaining! We could've gone all day. We then had a really nice tour of the property before tasting some of our favorite wines in all of Chile. We even briefly met the owner - María who was so kind. The overall experience was super intimate which was a stark contrast to some of the other wineries in the area. Oh, and I couldn't write a review without mentioning Bartolo - one of the pups on the property who was such a good boy. Thank you so much Inés for the conversation, knowledge, and wine. Cannot recommend this place enough.

5.00We discovered a beautiful and authentic vineyard. The history of the vineyard is very beautiful and Ines tells it very well. Moreover, Ines was a very good and professional guide wether with her warm welcoming, the tasting of 3 excellent wines, the explanation or her expertise. We had a nice time. We discovered the Carmenere and we love it 😍! I reconciled with the rosé. We did several visits to vineyards and tastings in the valley of Colchagua and this one was truly my favorite. We highly recommend the authentic experience at La Viña Encierra everything is perfect ☺️.

5.00The landscape is beautiful and the facilities of the vineyard are beautiful, we were greeted by Inés who attended us with much cordiality. We did a bike tour where we appreciated the vineyards and plum plantations, very cute! We were able to know the bottling process and explained in detail the stages for obtaining the wine. We met the winemaker, very friendly, invited us for a next opportunity With the tasting we were able to taste the wines for which the vineyard is renowned, they are exquisite wines!! Thank you very much to Inés, we hope to return in March next year!!

5.00The wines we tasted in Viña Encierra were truly exceptional, reflecting the care and attention the family pays to each bottle. Inés Patrón was very explicit in telling us the story behind each wine, which made the experience even more enriching. I highly recommend a visit to Viña en Sierra for anyone looking to enjoy high quality wines in a beautiful setting and with a hostess as exceptional as Ines.
