Combination of Hop-On Hop-Off bus with Historical Sightseeing cruise shows city from both perspectives - from the land and from the sea. Join the bus tour at any of CityTour's Hop-On Hop-Off stops. Rock Church, Sibelius monument, Kaivopuisto & Eira areas with stunning architecture and beautiful seaside. One tour takes approximately 1 h 30 minutes.
May-Sept 2026 buses operate every 30-40 minutes between 10:00 and 16:00 with extra departures during high season.
1h 30 min boat tour by Royal Line: Best of Suomenlinna Sea Fortress (incl. the inner bay), Kaivopuisto Park, historical neighbourhoods of Kruununhaka and Katajanokka, churches, ports, icebreakers, summer cottages and saunas.

Operating Schedule:Please, note that total duration of the Hop-On Hop-Off tour can vary from 1h 20 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on traffic and amount of harbours included in the tour. With every stop you extend duration of your tour. Changes are possible. Hop-On Hop-Off tours start from 2.5.2025: every 30-40 minutes between 10:00 and 16:00 from Stop 1
Situated at the main Cathedral Square called "the Senate Square". If you look in the direction of the Cathedral, bus stop 1 is on the left side of the Square.
Bus stop within walking distance from Market Square and famous Havis Amanda statue with fountain. Bus stop can be found next to Lamy shop
Tallink Silja ships arrive and depart to Stockholm using this terminal. Bus stop is outside on the other side of the road
Kaivopuisto stop, situated on the other side of the road from Cafe Ursula
Eira Neighbourhood stop. Situated next to mini golf, on the other side of the road.
LHB & LHC harbour stops for International Cruise ships
LHD harbour stop for International Cruise ships
Stop is next to traditional Finnish sauna Löyly with restaurant/ bar.
Bus stop situated at Bulevardi street
Stop can be find by walking 3 minutes to the North from crossing of Bulevardi and Fredrikinkatu
Stop is in walking distance from Kamppi metro/ intercity bus station/ Shopping mall. Situated at Fredrikinkatu next to Tennis Palace building.
Stop situated at Arkadiankatu street
Sibelius park stop is situated on the other side of the road from the park, to the East.
Stop is on the other side from Tram Museum of Helsinki
Stop situated at Mäntymäentie street
Stop for Sea Life and Linnanmäki is next to main entrance of Winter Garden

4.00The bus was scheduled to stop running between 4 and 5 pm. I thought I would have to walk back along distance to the ship, but the bus company transferred the ship passengers to one bus that got us to to the ship at 6 just before it took off. Greatly appreciated.

4.00The hop on hop off bus and the cruise are good ways to see Helsinki, both land and sea. The start pick ups are located centrally near or at the market square. For the cruise, this was a gentle circuit around the close islands/archipelago - quite interesting to see and good value. The hop on hop off bus covers a lot of good ground in the Helsinki city. Once on the bus, it was relaxing and the driver was friendly. A couple minor feedback points - clarity can be added to ensure the driver knows the ticket that relates to the tour company. Sometimes there is uncertainty because there are two hop on hop off buses with separate companies. Clearer signage on the bus or on TripAdvisor ticket will help. Also better clarity on when the bus will arrive (on estimate) at a particular location will help. Sometimes, it is possible to wait 30-45 mins at a particular stop because of uncertainty of when the bus will come next. These small things will help the tourist have a more effective and smoother experience. Thank you!
