A demon lurking in an old well. A bag of gold that turns to horse dung at the Devil's Wedding. And the world's oldest national flag, said to have fallen from the sky right here in Tallinn. This self-guided audio walking tour takes you through 15 stops across Tallinn's medieval Old Town, from the ghost monks of the Danish King's Garden to the 600-year-old pharmacy that once sold mummy juice and powdered unicorn horn.
You'll hear the legend of how a giant's grieving wife built an entire hill from stones, discover why a painted window on Rataskaevu Street has stayed sealed for centuries, and walk the cobblestoned streets where Hanseatic merchants once shaped Northern Europe's trade routes.

The tour had some unnecessary detours. Furthermore, it was completely superfluous and therefore unnecessarily expensive to pay 4 tikets, which caused annoyance. There was no entrance requiring paid access, as suggested in the description. For a person as a guide, it would have been rated good, as points and explanations were not bad.

This was my first self-guided tour. I got to see many lovely spots in Tallin that otherwise I may not have found. I particularly like the fact that you are able to go at your own pace as I often take a long time taking photos.

It would be interesting to guide the way after each stop. It is true that there is a map with points of interest, but it is not known after each stop whether to go left or right. Otherwise, nice experience 👍

Been to nice places where we would not otherwise go, at our own pace and also learned a lot from history, highly recommended.

Money wasted. And also inaccurate explanation. Google can do much better just by framing the various points of interest

Very intuitive and easy to use app, well-designed route and easy to follow thanks to the very accurate GPS geolocation. We immersed ourselves in the history of Tallinn and it was great to discover something more about this wonderful city
