What To Expect
Mont-Saint-Michel
Departure at 8:00 am We will arrive at around 9.30am in order to take the shuttle which will drop us at the foot of the Mont. We will visit the medieval village before going to the Abbey which overlooks the bay. Watch out for the breathtaking view! At the end of the visit, we offer you free time so that you can eat and fully enjoy the Mont for two hours before back to Bayeux An experience not to be missed!

5.00Bring your patience and wear good walking shoes! It’s worth it! Magnificent abbey sitting atop a village surrounded by water. The abbey is so interesting and historical with so many stories told by the guides. The village is VERY crowded which makes it difficult to navigate. We walked down from the abbey on the outside of the village to avoid the crowds. I think the most beautiful vista is approaching the abbey from the bus that brings you to the foot of the mount.

His knowledge of Mont St. Michel and the surrounding countryside was truly astounding and he really made our visit very interesting. It is an amazing place to visit!

5.00Our guide, Katell, is from the local Normandy area so she enhanced the trip by explaining legends and being able to answer many questions beyond Mont St Michel. She pointed out many sites as we were touring and you realize how the experience is so much better with a knowledgeable guide. As we returned, she offered us all further information as we continued our Normandy stay.

5.00From the moment we met our guide, Kate, we were made to feel at home. Kate was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She took time to explain everything and also took time to answer our questions about every day life in France. One of the best guides we have had. I highly recommend. She took care to explain the physical aspect of the steps and helped place an older guest in a good location to meet us at the conclusion.

5.00We had a marvelous time. Our guide, July or rather Juliet, I believe, was absolutely spectacular. She picked us promptly at 8:00, expertly drove us thru the beautiful French countryside to Mont Ste Michel. Which is much more magnificent in person than any picture could ever capture. July expertly informed us about the history of the Abbey & village from it's inception to modern time. Explaining how this marvel was built and the history surrounding the various changes to it over time. She had the added duty of guiding me up and down the various levels, as I have a bad hip. She kindly did so with much care for me and my not so young anymore, companions. The place itself was truly great but her compassionate and very pleasant demeanor made for a most memorable experience. We’ve traveled the world and she is one of the most pleasant & best informed guides we’ve ever had.
