5.0There are destinations that evoke a mystical other-worldly quality. For me, growing up in the U.S., Mont Ste. Michel was one of those places. With Kate as our guide, we were treated to so much more than any written travel guide could provide. Her knowledge of this treasure was remarkable! I leave France with mental images of generations of pilgrims reaching this holy ground built to honor Ste. Michel, high on a granite mountain at the edge of the sea.
