Bonjour! Be ready for lots of deep steps and crowds of people. The view up top is very worth the effort!

Our guide Kate was great. She shared her vast knowledge of history in such a wonderful way. She included so much details in such a energetic way that it made the tour not only educational, but entertaining as well. Kate was very attentive to all the members of the tour, ensuring that everyone was comfortable. The tour was very organized and professionally done. I would highly recommend.

Awe inspiring site. But beware that the full tour through Mont St Michel includes a couple hundred steps. I stayed on the city level while my wife and guide visited the upper levels.

Julie was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I can’t imagine seeing this site without a guide. We had a few hiccups out of her control and she handled them with grace and professionalism.

Bring your patience and wear good walking shoes! It’s worth it! Magnificent abbey sitting atop a village surrounded by water. The abbey is so interesting and historical with so many stories told by the guides. The village is VERY crowded which makes it difficult to navigate. We walked down from the abbey on the outside of the village to avoid the crowds. I think the most beautiful vista is approaching the abbey from the bus that brings you to the foot of the mount.

We had Arthur as our tour guide of Mont St. Michel and he did an excellent job of giving us the historical background needed to fully appreciate our visit to the site. His knowledge of Mont St. Michel and the surrounding countryside was truly astounding and he really made our visit very interesting. It is an amazing place to visit!
