With ‘Monte Mare Travel’ in this tour, you will visit three largest sanctuaries in Montenegro and find out interesting stories about relics (the right hand of John the Baptist, a peace the Holy Cross and the icon Philermos) in Cetinje Monastery, Saint Vasily in Ostrog monastery, as well as frescoes of post Byzantine period in Morača monastery. Departure by appointment. Driving towards Cetinje - 45 min to 1 hour and 30 min, depending on the place - city of departure. We will walk through the historical part of this town. We will visit the Cetinje Monastery, pass next to Ćipuri church, Biljarda, King Nicola's museum, the Presidential Palace and take a walk on the main pedestrian street – 1 hour.
Ostrog Monastery

Great day in Montenegro -touring & seeing monasteries

5.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. He dove us around Montenegro's most notable highlights as well as to Ostrog & Cetinje monasteries. We did not go to Moraca monastery due to location and timing - it is practically impossible to achieve! We enjoyed local drinks & food while getting to know more about the capitol city as a bonus.
