Next to Alaska, Monterey is the best place to go whale watching. Due to the abundant supply of food for the whales, your chances to observe them are great. Our Fantasy Goddess crew were fantastic!

I would rather not give a review, this was no one‘s fault of my own that I missed the boat, due to eating some bad food at Katie‘s place in Carmel. I was sick and unable to get there on time. I arrived at 9:15 and the boat had already left.

Great location for your hotel/Inn stay( booked the same day) and restaurants. The Sea Goddess Fantasy Tour Boat (Whale watching) , with parking was just five minutes away! We just loved that!!!!! They DID NOT disappoint!!! We took some amazing photos of whales, seals and dolphins! Great memories and an experience we’ll never forget! The staff were very professional and made sure everyone stayed safe!!!! I strongly recommend this tour!!!

Would highly recommend this tour. Despite the fog, we managed to see humpback whales and some dolphins, so props to the crew for spotting them! The boat is big so plenty of space to stand outside and take in the views. As two people prone to seasickness, the bigger boat was also ideal as it was much less rocky and we could stand outside in the fresh air the whole time without getting in anyone's way. The commentary of the tour operators was informative but not constant, so we could enjoy the sights in peace. Overall, a great experience!

Absolutely wonderful time on Sea Goddess Fantasy yesterday. No seasickness at all but followed their recommendations on their website. Not only did we humpback whales but were fortunate enough to see a pod of Orcas hunting. Amazing.

Check in was easy, the boat was clean and the crew welcoming. We paid for the upper deck experience with extra time with the marine biologist, which we recommend if you have curiosity about the marine mammals and other sea life, and about ocean conservation. However, for viewing whales in front of the boat you need to be on the main deck. We had a tremendously successful morning with calm water and humpback whales within minutes of entering the bay. Over 20 unique individuals feeding around us, rafts of sealions -- which you have to see to believe! -- diving birds, two sea otters, various jellyfish, and even bottlenose dolphin!

Bundle up it’s cold. Take seasickness meds if you are prone. The crew was excellent. Waters were choppy and lots of fog.

A beautiful day on the bay surrounded by breaching whales and lots of sea birds. A great crew and clean ship. Super efficient. The naturalist who narrated the trip was proficient, easy to understand, and flexible.
