AMAZING! first the staff was very friendly, informative! We told the tour from Moss Landing at 9:30am. The weather was wonderful, a little chilly… the AMAZING part we go to see humpback whales during our trip! The captain made sure we were able to get as close as possible for us to enjoy these wonderful mammals but keeping a safe distance! We paid to sit on the top deck which was wonderful to enjoy the Sun and the view! In addition to seeing whales we saw sea lions, otters, seals, and many birds! Leaving from Moss landing was very easy, parking was only 14.00, and upon your return there are wonderful restaurants you to enjoy lunch right on bay! We did an early Sunday morning (9:30) VIP tour. I loved that it wasn’t as crowded as the later tour and being upstairs made it much easier to move from side to side as whales were spotted. (Captain seemed to like to keep the whales on the right for our trip) The crew was courteous and knowledgable. This is off season and we were still able to have quite a few sightings.

Only book this event on a Saturday or Sunday. They will cancel 24 hours prior if not enough tickets were sold. I booked a hotel room Sunday night and they canceled Sunday afternoon for a Monday morning whale watching tour..

We saw a small killerwhale family with two small ones, but what made the strongest impression on me was watching two humpback whales that inspectied us up close. They were amazing!
