What To Expect
Moorea Miti Tours
Embark upon a magical adventure (around 6 hours) to discover Moorea's best attractions aboard the most beautiful boat of Moorea with only 12 passengers. After pick-up at your hotel, visit Cook's or Opunohu bay and their magnificient mountains. Cruise through Moorea's lagoon to go meet friendly stingrays and black-tip sharks in shallow water. Go snorkeling and admire amazing fish and coral reefs. Learn how to open a coconut and prepare the famous "poisson cru" with your local Polynesian guide. A delicious barbecue lunch is served on the motu (islet), with your feet in the water. You will then be brought back to your hotel.

5.00This was a wonderful experience if you want a half day to explore the island of Moorea, if you want to swim in a very safe area with sting rays and black tip sharks, want warm guides who will entertain you with their humor and music, want freshly made local food, want a delicious authentic Polynesian lunch, want a charming guide to make a special hat from fresh coconut leaves, teach you how to peel a coconut and how to make shredded coconut, you want your guide to teach you how to wear a sarong 8 different ways, teach you about local medicinal benefits of local plants. We were also able to go to a coral garden which was a wonderful 45 min safe snorkeling experience for people of all different levels.

5.00Will and Elvis were absolutely amazing tour guides, while riding on our boats, they both played music so there wasn’t an awkward sense of silence, knew the history of their island, and of animals that surrounded it. Both of them have a fun/ laid back sense of humor. But also try to make sure everyone is involved. They also have the best poisson cru, on the island In my opinion. Simple not flashy but fresh and good.

5.00Wilfred and Elvis were wonderful hosts! The tour is well constructed and spaced out, with two snorkeling activities, a freshly prepared meal, and explanatory sessions on local medicinal plants, straw-hat building, and a myriad ways to turn a Sarong into a dress (this was very cool).
