The day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch a glimpse of what this remarkable reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night. Departing from Maun early in the morning, you will be picked up from your place of accommodation in Maun before heading to Moremi Game Reserve to explore the diversity of this scenic and wildlife-rich area.
We will proceed to Black Pools and Xini Area. These areas are in the south western part of Moremi. With seasonal and permanent swamp landscape, these two areas are home to a bounty of buffalo herds, elephant, cheetah, African wild dog and good lion prides, to name a few.
The wildlife highlights differ from day-to-day and amongst such are leopard, lion, African wild dog, hyena, kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, elephant, buffalo, rhino and impala – to name a few. Birdlife is quite amazing in the area with birds such as secretary bird, hornbill, lapwing, vulture, African jacana, African fish eagle, hamerkop, and many more.

What To Expect
Moremi Game Reserve
This safari is undertaken in customized safari vehicles with rear mounted game viewing seats underneath a canvas canopy. You will be accompanied at all times by knowledgeable and experienced guides. Warm clothes are necessary during winter months and rain gear during the rainy season. This tour commences and ends in Maun. Moremi Game Reserve is about 100 kilometers from Maun, and you can expect to spend the day searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birdlife that this area is renowned for, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this area. The reserve is home to the big 5 game. Often described as the most beautiful of all wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, Moremi Game Reserve covers almost a third of the entire Okavango Delta. Explore the diverse habitats where desert and delta support floodplains, pans, lagoons, channels, woodlands and forests, each offering unparalleled excitement and adventure.

1.00Total scam. Poor communication from the beginning. Guide insisted on a briefing. Did not show. Day of tour. Did not show. No call, no email, NOTHING. Get ready for a fight. I want my money back. You ruined an entire day of what should have been a dream vacation. If a lion, cheetah or leopard didn't eat you then you are just a low level scam artist.

5.00The trip is long but worth it. The driver always tried hard to find felines and we succeeded. They are also very aware of you at all times, both before the trip and after. Perfect service and quality price of 100.

Agreed to do a tour of Moremi on 7 June and inexplicably cancelled a few days before without warning When asked this was the reply I received Good morning I hope this message finds you well. I am apologies for the inconvenience of your booking. We take more than 2 people for day trip and in the other hand we get payment after the trip and this it's self we get challenges to serve you .Because I have source some income somewhere to serve you. This goes to show that they are unable to honor bookings in TripAdvisor and only care about payment. Atrocious and should be avoided at all costs

5.00Although my wife and I were the only 2 participants and I would therefore question the economic viability for the tour operator, the operator and our guide Nando did everything to make the game drive an unforgettable experience for us. The day before, there was a short preliminary discussion in the evening to take our personal wishes into account. During the game drive, Nando did everything to show us as many animals as possible; we benefited greatly from his many years of experience as a guide: Nando really sees everything that remains hidden from the average mortal. He also provided us with a lot of interesting information. And all of this without looking at the clock; our game drive ultimately lasted 14 hours. We had previously considered doing a self-guided game drive with our Toyota Hilux, which would have been easily possible on March 14, 2023 due to the road conditions in the park. But then we would not have been able to see many animals that were only possible thanks to the expertise of our guide (tracking, interpreting the sounds of other animals). In our opinion, the event is more than worth the price. We can only recommend booking the game drive with this organizer.

4.00We had an excellent guide. He knows a lot. He was from the beginning till the end enthousiast and very busy to find animals. We bever had such a good guide. He made a very tastefull lunch for us We had a wonderfull day. Price was also honest and our experience in Botswana was not so good till we meet this company. Sense in nature makes us very happy. Thx!
