Most of the trip happens on well-trodden, level ground but there can be inclines and loose/drifted snow during the hike, the guide will help anyone navigate any little obstacles and walking poles can be provided if requested. Romy was extremely kind, professional and open to any questions. She encouraged us to make snow angels, throw some snowballs, and we made little snowmen all together as a group impromptu! In winter the landscape is staggering but drastic, and it was snowing beautifully on our tour. But rain or shine these guys make sure the experience happens and delivers. I felt like Romy was so genuine and the walk actually covered a lot of ground which I didn't expect. It's also not something we've seen at all before, even though we did the Kungsleden in Autumn. The morning hike is suitable for all ages and most activity levels, and they also provide amazing boots if needed so you don't need to be concerned about not having the appropriate footwear or anything like that. If I hadn't done this tour I would not have had the opportunity to see the same routes or get a proper background to the area - it's very different from the more touristic aspects of the Kungsleden. Hoping to do an Ultimate Aurora tour with LoL next if I can! Don't hesitate if you're on the fence! :)

What a treat! Sara Brockmann picked us up, got us to the trailhead, and made sure we were dressed and ready for this hike. The trail is a thrill to walk along with seeing the nature as well as some wild animals (like ptarmigans) and a couple reindeer . The beauty of the trail, frozen lakes and streams is breathtaking and we stopped all along the way for pictures and just taking it all in. Sara knew the trail and what we might see and made sure to give us a heads up when possible, Sara is also a great photographer helping us with pictures. Thanks so much and I definitely recommend this activity to anyone up for an easy hike.

Gavin took us on a fabulous hike through Abisko National Park. The walk was invigorating and educational. We stopped to examine animal prints in the snow, hoping to spot one!! No luck! The views of the Arctic landscapes and Abisko valley are stunning! We made our way to Tornetrask lake which we walked on while taking in the views surrounding us!! Gavin was wonderful, patient & funny as well. We had a wonderful morning! I highly recommend this tour, especially with Gavin as your guide!! It's an experience you won't want to miss while visiting Abisko!!

This was a wonderful experience. We got a beautiful sunny day and our guide Gavin was great. You could feel his love of the place through his enthusiasm and knowledge. He even went above and beyond to return something I'd left in the van. Really excellent experience

Our guide Mat accompanied us along some feel of the Park. The beautiful snow-covered park with the frozen lake and the frozen waterfalls very suggestive, Mat explained and told us many things about the park really to recommend.
