Puerto Rico is hot so wear light clothing and bring water to stay hydrated, although we do provide water at all our stops.
Tour runs rain or shine!
Please plan accordingly (allow extra time for traffic and parking, especially on weekends) and arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. Tour starts promptly. We allow an additional 5 minute grace period after the allotted start time - following that, once the guide has left the meeting location, guests may no longer join the tour. Please note we are on Atlantic Standard Time (AST) and Puerto Rico does not observe Daylight Savings.
Food Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, and/or, Dietary Preferences: Tasting menus developed with our partners are pre-fixed and thus, all changes must be provided well in advance. Please ensure to advise of any allergies, dietary restrictions, and, or, dietary preferences at least 48hours in advance of your experience. We are only able to make substitutions with prior notice. Please note vegan and gluten-free tastings are not available at all stops.
Not recommeneded for travelers with severe mobility issues since this is a walking tour in a colonial city (cobblestones and some uneven sidewalks)

Plaza del Quinto Centenario
Join our Old San Juan Walk and Taste Tour for a delicious journey through the city’s cobblestone streets. You’ll enjoy five food and drink stops, taste local flavors, sip Puerto Rican rum, and learn about the island’s rich history and culture along the way. Between bites, explore historic sites like a centuries-old convent and take in stunning views of Old San Juan’s forts and architecture. This small-group tour is led by local, bilingual guides who love sharing their city and insider tips. Tours run Monday–Saturday at 9:30AM and Sundays at 10AM. Dietary needs? We’ve got you. Come hungry and curious — there’s something for everyone.

Cuartel de Ballajá, at the corner of Calle Norzagaray and Calle del Morro in Old San Juan, is a stunning 19th‑century Spanish barracks—now a vibrant cultural hub housing the Museo de las Américas, cafés, schools, and more, all centered around a gorgeous courtyard just steps from El Morro

5.00Great walking tour of Old San Juan with stops at several restaurants for tasting and cocktails. Our young tour guide, Gia, was very energetic and knowledgeable and I swear she probably knows every shop and restaurant owner in San Juan! The food and cocktails were excellent and the history that Gia shared gave context to what we were seeing and tasting. Highly recommended this tour!

5.00What a great experience. Our guide Niko was engaged, knowledgeable, and entertaining. We enjoyed great food and beverages. The local food tour encapsulated within the history of old San Juan was a true experience. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Puerto Rico.

5.00Run, don’t walk to sign up for this morning walking tour. Call first and make sure to ask for Elliot. He proudly shares the Puerto Rican culture and history along with personal stories - you won’t want your time to end. Each place along the tour was ready for us and made us feel like VIPs instead of just tourists. Elliot was respectful of each place and the staff, it was obvious they enjoy working with him. There was the perfect portion of food at each stop with a beverage and enough walking between each stop that you never feel stuffed, but you are satisfied. I have a coconut allergy and one person did not drink alcohol, and each place accommodated those needs effortlessly. I highly recommend this tour. Wear comfortable shoes and ensure your phone is charged, there a lots of local scenery you’ll want to take pictures of. Water and restaurants are available at every stop.
