Our guide Michael provided us with such a wonderful game drive. My primary goal was to see black rhinos and I was a bit nervous when he shared that on the morning drive they didn’t see any. We enjoyed impala, giraffe, kudu, zebra along the way and then we found the elusive black rhino. Michael provided lots of information about all the animals we saw and did a great job of watching the direction of the rhino and providing multiple viewing opportunities. The sundowner selection was huge and as we drove back through the dark we were treated to an elephant sighting along the road. Highly recommend this outing to anyone in Victoria Falls.

This morning’s tour was fantastic. My first safari and it did not disappoint. I was the only individual on the tour but the tour guide, Greemph, was very nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating (he turned around after finding out we missed the giraffe). We saw impalas, baboons, zebra, waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, and giraffe! He provided coffee/tea and snacks along the river. It was great little spot to get out and stretch. Highly recommend! If there was any negative feedback to provide, the description of the tour should mention that the afternoon is the best time to see most animals (per the guide). If I had known that, I would have scheduled the later time slot.

This was a good way to spend an extra day in Victoria Falls. Booking is super easy and the service was great. One of the office staff showed up at our hotel before the driver just to make sure everything went according to plan. Victoria and Livingstone Private Reserve currently has 11 black rhino and we were fortunate to see one near a tower of giraffes. Also saw the usual suspects - kudu, white backed vulture, baboon, impala, plains zebra, open beaked stork and more. I had forgotten that it included breakfast in the bush so it was a nice surprise when we stopped for a sit-down meal. Cedric was our driver and very knowledgeable and prompt.

What a wonderful Safari! Our guide Nicholas was brilliant 👏 he was determined to find us a Rhino, and he did! Lots of other animals too. Breakfast served was delicious and pick up and drop off just meant the whole thing was simply unbeatable!

While the communications with TripAdvisor was lacking on particulars, our Game Drive & Guide in the Stanley & Livingstone Reserve were fantastic. We signed up to attempt to see Black Rhino & our guide found 8 of the 11 during our drive! We were very lucky. Another guest hoped to see lions, but none presented. Did see giraffe, zebra, impala & baboons. The sundowner by the river was lovely. Highly recommend during your Vic Falls stay. Wish we had also done the train over the bridge instead of the Zambezi Sunset cruise, but next time.

This is a relatively new and large game reserve. The animals are shy and elusive. The bush is thick, making it tricky to search for animals. Our driver was good and we enjoyed the fresh air and the occasional animal sightings - saw a large herd of waterbuck outside the fence. We ended up seeing more elephants on our way back to the hotel than in the park! As South Africans, we are familiar with the different animals and birds; however, the bushveld was new to us. In the end, the family was slightly disappointed, but we couldn't pinpoint precisely why!

We chose this game drive after doing several others in National Parks that didn’t have rhinos. We got to see rhinos so were overall happy with the game drive. Additionally, the truck is quite nice compared to others we had ridden and the sunset drive had a nice selection of snacks and drinks. However, we didn’t see a lot of other animals - again, ok for us as we had been on others and seen everything else, but it seemed that there was a lower density of animals so may not be a great option for someone’s first game drive. Additionally, we had booked a 3pm game drive and the time got delayed 45 minutes; as we went in August when the sun sets at 6pm, this didn’t leave a lot of time for finding animals while it was still light out and there was no spotter to find animals during the part of the game drive when it was dark. As such, especially if going in the winter, I would say that the afternoon option isn’t worth the price.

Wonderful seeing 2 black rhinos. The description needs to be rewriting from “dinner” to “adult beverages and appetizers served by the lake”. Which was a wonderful relaxing experience - sipping wine and again appetizers at Sunset by the lake, watching a black rhino and elephants.
