  • Gordon River Cruise

This was a fantastic experience, the only drawback was the visit to Sarah Island was rushed. It needed an extra 20 min. The guide was rushed and could not wait for everyone to get to the next point of interest before she had to start her talk. The food was great the on board information was excellent and the seat and facilities were top class.

Wonderful! The cruise sails throughout the Gordon river viewing the dense rainforest on the banks. The boat had comfortable seating indoors and on the deck. Trip to Sarah island was great and our tour guide shared some fun facts and stories about the convicts and local timber industry . Lunch is served fresh on the boat. This is a must do when in Strahan.

Absolutely stunning, would highly recommend! Several stops off the boat to learn about history and vegetation. Cruise amenities were great and the staff were so lovely and extremely knowledgeable. The lunch was also lovely.

Wide windows so great views. On shore short walks were informative with interesting and amusing guides. The wilderness itself is the star attraction- so vast, lush and isolated it was amazing. The trees and ferns makes you appreciate the reason for having wilderness and leaving it alone.
