My partner and I had a wonderful time on the Mornington Peninsula cycling wine tour and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We were met at Arthur’s Seat by Alison, who got us set up with bikes, helmets and a map, and made sure we were ready for the day ahead. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, with great suggestions for things to see and do along the route, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and well thought-through. Alison recommended some excellent stopping points along the way – Mock Red Hill for cider, Eldridge Estate and Stonier for wine, and Epicurean Café for lunch – all of which were fantastic. We were also lucky enough to visit on the day of the monthly Hill and Ridge Community Market. The Red Hill Rail Trail was an absolute standout – an amazing downhill ride all the way towards the coast and such good fun. At the end of the ride, Alison picked us up from Balnarring Beach and drove us all the way back to our accommodation in Arthur’s Seat, which was hugely appreciated after a full day out. On top of that, Alison generously shared some brilliant tips for the rest of our stay, including the Cape Schanck to Bushrangers Bay walk (which we did the next morning and loved), as well as restaurant recommendations and some things to avoid. Thank you so much to Alison and the team behind Cycling Vine Tours. A beautifully organised experience from start to finish – we would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting the Mornington Peninsula.

We had a fantastic day out cycling as a family, it was a perfect activity and way to see some of Mornington Peninsula on a perfect weather day. We have very mixed cycling experience as a family and Allison planned out a great route for us that everyone could have a good time on. The wineries were great and the day ran very smoothly. Allison was always quick to respond to communication and provided us with a number of other local recommendations for the rest of our trip. I would definitely recommend booking a cycle tour with Allison for anyone travelling to the area.

We booked a mountain bike tour with Cycling Vine Tours for our end-of-year work Christmas party and it was absolutely brilliant. The bikes were excellent and the ride was fun without being difficult, making it perfect for everyone. Allison was amazing — incredibly organised and very flexible. We worked together to create an itinerary that suited our needs perfectly. The wine tasting at Stonier was a great highlight, and everyone had an incredible time. We’ll be talking about this experience for years. Highly recommended.

Allison is terrific and we enjoyed our cycling tour so much. I highly recommend it for a couples activity or with family though it’s also be fun solo. The track is mostly downhill and gorgeous. You’re not on the main road for long before going mostly on lovely wooded paths. Great stops along the way and loved Allison’s relaxed approach and flexibility. Would do it again and go to the furthest point next time. Stop by Fern gulley for a walk too and you might see an echidna near rotting trees like we did.

Well maintained Bikes and very clear and pro-active communication with Cycling Vine Tours. Pick-up and drop off at our Airbnb made that we both could enjoy the wine tasting!

A great experience. Did the self-guided winery tour. It is a safe, chill ride mainly on shared bike/walking paths. Allison met me at Arthur’s Seat and handed over a Trek MB with puncture kit, first aid, lock etc. perhaps most importantly detailed route notes and maps. The route is mainly downhill from Arthur’s Seat (as long as you don’t get lost). Plenty of places for coffee and food. Allison can pick you up along the route so you don’t have to worry about riding its entire length if you get tired (or overindulge). Just be aware that many wineries are only open Friday - Monday so on a midweek ride you might find not many places open.

What a great experience, very well supported by Allison, useful tips on what to see en route and what to expect so there were no surprises! The bikes were good, the maps helpful and, without the advice we probably wouldn’t have seen half the things we did.

Had a fantastic time on the self guided Mornington Peninsula tour. Allison was brilliant, super helpful and had a great knowledge of the area. Top notch bike was provided with pump etc. Allison really took the time before I set off to talk through the map and was on hand throughout the day for any questions. The route was easy to follow, varied and had some amazing places to stop off at. Will definitely use this company again - highly recommend!

! We had an outstanding experience with Vine Wine Tours! Alison met us right at our accommodation and took care of everything from the get-go. She provided super helpful, detailed maps and set us up for a self-guided ride along a mostly downhill trail—perfect for our group of four, which included two keen cyclists and two less experienced ones. We had an absolute blast! Highlights included a wine tasting stop at Eldridge Cellar Door, a delicious lunch at BBQ Gums, a visit to the Truffle Shop, and some browsing at Merricks General Store—a fantastic spot we almost wished we’d finished at! (Though we did enjoy continuing on to the beach.) Alison picked us up at the end and dropped us back to our accommodation—top-notch service from start to finish. The full ride was around 27km and was a total highlight of our week in the Mornington Peninsula. Highly recommend booking with Alison and Vino wine Tours!
