Authentic baking workshop with very competent guidance

5.00The baking workshop takes place in a private house. It offers not only an insight into Moroccan baking, but also into daily life and Moroccan culture. The result is authentic, very well planned and executed and highly recommended if you want to experience Morocco off the beaten track.

5.00The most wonderful warm authentic baking experience with Khadija in her home. So knowledgable and a fantastic patient teacher. A hands on experience that we will treasure and remember every time we make the recipes. Excellent explanations of the ingredients. Bonus was having treats to take away. This course is real value for the money paid. Clear instructions to get to her apartment and she gave us easy directions to tram back to the centre. Thankyou for more than just a cooking lesson Khadija!

5.00Khadija has created a lovely baking class. She welcomed myself and a separate couple into her family home. The menu was three breads and three cookies. First, Khadija would demonstrate, and then we all took turns measuring, mixing and serving. She also taught us to make traditional mint tea. Then the best part, we sat down to eat! There was plenty of food left over that we took when we left. One of the highlights of my time in Morocco.

5.00Yumm, we had a great experience with Wissa, prearing traditional Morrocan food in her home and tasting a true Morrocan tea. The kids loved it and we will be re-baking the recipes now that we know how to go about them. Wissa is a great host and if you want to learn more not just about cooking in Morroco it is a great experience.

5.00The best experience! Khadija contacted us the day before to ask if we had any allergies, and what our interests were. We took a cab to the apartment, which was all set up with the ingredients. This is truly hands on, and we learned so much about baking and about Moroccan culture. She is incredibly kind and organized! Highly recommend.

5.00Khadija was lovely and had everything prepared for us to make 5 different Moroccan sweets before sitting down for our freshly cooked treats and Moroccan tea. Overall a really enjoyable, interesting and engaging way to spend our time in Casablanca. Would recommend to others :)

5.00No better way to experience and better understand a day in the life of our beautiful host family. Not only did we learn a sampling of what they eat in a day, but also examples of what each family member is responsible for and how they travel about and what they wear. We made 4 items and took extra cookies back with us to share with others. Delicious! Off the tourist path, our host referred a reputable, fair driver who we were very comfortable with. Our host encouraged us to ask questions about the area and the people. She had a lot of pride with her family and parents and rightly so. She’s a lovely young business woman, smart and very pleasant. Our time there was the highlight of our visit that day! We highly recommend it. We had a city tour included in our cruise and we booked this private excursion for later in the day. They worked with us on time and made sure we were back to the ship in plenty of time. You’ll have time to do both excursions. Enjoy!! Jim, Deb and Carol

5.00We had a great time cooking and eating. We learnt to prepare easy to replicate Moroccan dishes. We not only learn new recipes but we found out more about Moroccan food preparation and eating habits. This activity was conducted in a family home in a very friendly environment. We had so much to eat that we had to skip dinner.
