Emmanuel and the crew was amazing. Very knowledgeable , kind, and authentic . Being from the chagga tribe and having hiked Mount Kilimanjaro several times, he has a special connection with the place and it showed. I’m Very grateful to be able to experience a little bit of it through him. The hike and waterfall itself was mesmerizing and healing. The feeling is indescribable . Make sure to take a cool a refreshing dip in the water while you’re there.

Our guide, Emmanuel, was exceptional! He spoke excellent English and explained each place beautifully, helping us truly understand the culture and history. He was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. We also enjoyed a coffee tour with him, which was a great experience. He took very good care of us and ensured everything went smoothly. He’s also a talented photographer and captured beautiful photos for us during the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.

Our trip to Materuni Waterfall was the highlight of our visit! The hike is breathtaking, but what truly made the experience was our guide, Emanuel. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora and the Chaga culture. He set a perfect pace for the hike and made sure we were safe and comfortable the whole time. The coffee making session at the end was so much fun! If you’re going, definitely ask for Emanuel—he’s the best!

This was a truly unforgettable experience. Emmanuel, our local guide, is extremely knowledgeable about the area and Mount Kilimanjaro. He picked us up on time from the hotel by tuktuk, and everything went smoothly. The waterfall is stunning and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. Afterward we enjoyed the full coffee making experience from shelling and crushing the beans to roasting and finally tasting an incredible cup of coffee. Emmanuel makes the entire experience fun and engaging, and it was honestly the best coffee we I've ever had. I would 100% recommend him to anyone interested in this experience.
