  • Great Day!

Great Tour. It leaves early but that means you by pass the lines at the boarder and get into Mostar early. The old town is small and gets filled up with tourists very quickly! Mate was our guide for the day. He was great and shared some insights on the country. Loved that we had a 1hr guided tour of Mostar as well. I know a lot of these tours are "explore on your own" having a guide and free time was a nice bonus.

  • Beautiful Mostar!

This is well worth the money and a great way to tick off another country. The journey each way is a bit of a trek but the coach is comfortable and the scenery is great. Our guide Peter kept up entertained and informed. We stopped in a little village for Bosnian coffee on the way there. Mostar is delightful. Anna-Marie provided us with so much information and included some light heaters humour. She was excellent. We had time to wander on our own and grab lunch. On the way back we went to the waterfalls. This was a nice stop off. Too cold to swim but lovely for photos. Very pleased with this trip and good value for money.

We had a nice day out from Split and it was interesting to visit Bosnia Herzegovina. The guide, Peter, was great and provided a lot of information and context. The bus driver (sorry, we forgot his name) was great as well. They also took care of the passport checks at the border which was much appreciated. The first stop, a little village, could have been skipped in our opinion. We appreciated it as a toilet break but apart from that, there was nothing there. Mostar and the Waterfalls were worthy stops and the amount of time provided at each stop was perfect. The city tour provider by the local guide, Annamaria, was really interesting and much appreciated. We were unfortunately badly prepared for the "money situation". This is on us - we did research much and somewhat just assumed that restaurants in Mostar would take card payments. There are a few that do but it was impossible to get a table in them. The rest is cash only (though they do accept Euros) but we did not carry enough cash to have a proper lunch. Overall, the experience was well organised and executed.

The bridges were beautiful as were the waterfall and I was happy with the trip. I don’t have any suggestions or complaints, I would just mention that it is a very long day.
