How much is 5 euros really worth? I got stolen from and humiliated at Gray Line. On November 1st, 2025, I joined Gray Line’s tour to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At 6:50 a.m., the receptionist asked me for 15 euros, some “Bosnian fee.” I wasn’t even sure what for. I gave her a 20-euro bill. She didn’t have change and said she would give me the 5 euros later. I agreed. The tour itself was great. José, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. But when I got back to Split, the same receptionist was gone. Another woman told me to return the next day around 2 p.m. to find her. So I did. November 2nd, 2:30 p.m., I walked back in and politely explained I was there to get my 5 euros back. And then, out of nowhere, she exploded. She started yelling: “I’m not stupid! You think I’m stupid? I’m not stupid!” in front of other customers. I was completely shocked. I calmly said, “You never gave me my change, it was 5 euros.” She kept shouting: “I don’t care for you. You think I’m stupid. I gave you the money. I do this with 100 people a day. I don’t care. Write an email.” She refused to give me her name and kept repeating “I don’t care for you.” I told her 5 euros wasn’t worth all that drama, that I was only asking because it was the right thing to do. So here I am, writing the “email” she told me to. Not because of the 5 euros, but because of the absolute lack of respect and basic decency. To that lady: I don’t think you’re stupid. I think you’re tired, stressed, and in desperate need of a vacation. But you are not fit for a customer-facing job. Ah, and I do know your name, it's Leonarda. I just wanted to check if you would have the decency of giving me your name. Not even that you did. So was 5 euros worth all that? No. Not for me. And hopefully, one day, you will realize it wasn’t for you either, because you never gave me that change. Avoid this place. There are plenty of respectful and professional tour companies in Split. And again, credit where it’s due, our guide José was amazing.

The tour was very fun, beautiful places, and it has been magic to discover more of Bosnia and Herzegovina, both visiting two towns and the nature. There was enough time to explore on our own, but also useful information from our guides. It’s totally worth and I’d recommend it. The overall experience was made much better thanks to our guide Ivanka, her energy, kindness and approach made this an unforgettable experience!

For the second day in a row, this trip has been absolutely wonderful! The weather made it even better, allowing us to explore happily and enjoy every moment. No wonder Ms. Ivanka, our star tour guide, made it all even more special 🤍she’s truly amazing and generous in everything she does. I’ll definitely recommend all the trips with her; it takes the experience to another level! With my warm regards, 🌸 Oumnia from 🇲🇦

Ivanka is a human dynamo who cared for all of us, as a group. Her enthusiasm is obvious, and she was keen to ensure that all of us had the support necessary for us to have the day we wanted. She’s a star!!

It was a good full-day tour. Our guide, Tin, was knowledgeable and he speaks clearly too, making it even better, especially on relaying instructions. Thanks, Tin. It wasn't a large group and time management was excellent.
