Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.
In the late afternoon, you will return back to your hotel.

What To Expect
Kravice Falls
Enjoy and relax on Kravice waterfalls. In summer time we stay 1.30h here so You can have a swim, be prepared :) In case You would like to swimm bring change and towel. You have changing place on waterfalls and toilets.
Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar
Have around 2.45h free time in Mostar for lunch and sightseeing.

5.00Going with the semi-private tour is a must! Getting through the borders is soooo much quicker compared to the large bus tours. Excellent tour and great tour guide, Marko! Marko provided great information on the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beautiful scenery. Mostar was great. Highly recommend eating at Labirint restaurant in Mostar(great recommendation from the tour guide). Amazing views swimming by the waterfalls.

3.00Our driver Bruno did not share much at all along our drive to the falls or to Mostar. There was no history, no explanation of anything as we drove along. Even a dad joke would have been something. Unfortunately it was race to the falls, drop us off and then race to Mostar, one recommended restaurant and race to get back to our drop-off point. Would have really enjoyed learning about the area and some highlights along the way.

5.00We had a fantastic trip to Kravice falls and Mostar. We shared the mini bus with two other couples but this was fine. The mini bus was really comfortable and air conditioned, thank goodness 😅 it was so hot outside. Our guide was a lovely guy, very well organised and informative. It was a fabulous drive to the falls,, and they were stunning, really exceeded my expectations. Some people complain about the bar areas but we welcomed them, it was so hot, you needed the shade and a drink. We went early so it was nice and quiet but it was getting busy as we left. The water was great for a swim. Next, onto Mostar. We absolutely loved Mostar and will visit again when it's cooler. What a beautiful place, and the people were so nice. It was very busy, there were a lot of tourists, but it wasn't a problem. We've travelled the world, and I can honestly say this was one of our favourite trips. A long day but highly recommended.
