What To Expect

1

Konjic Bridge

The Old Stone Bridge, as well from the Turkish period, connected the banks of Neretva river for centuries, since 1682. Until March 3rd, 1945, when it was destroyed by retreating German troops. It was a rare example of classical Turkish Bridge building.

Bunski Kanal Most

The Buna canals are one of the most beautiful places in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and this beauty is definitely worth seeing live, regardless of the fact that it is not yet fully organized for tourism and adapted for visits. What is it really about? The Bun canals are the place where the Neretva River flows, and its left tributary, the Buna River, flows into it. What is particularly interesting is that the Buna does not flow directly into the Neretva, but two rivers flow next to each other, and only one part of the Buna crosses travertine barriers and creates beautiful waterfalls and joins the Neretva and flows further towards the Adriatic Sea.

  • Best way to spend a day in Bosnia and Herzegovina

I was only in the country for less than 48hours but I had the best time! Thank you Benjamin for touring us around and sharing your knowledge and passion for your country. We started the day early and I would highly suggest to wear comfortable clothes + shoes (maybe slippers and swimwear too if you have swimming plans), bring some extra water and probably get lunch on the go or have a heavy breakfast as the day is packed and filled with adventures. My favorite stop has to be the Kravica Waterfalls. It’s looks straight out of a movie or pinterest, very picturesque. I had the chance to swim in the falls and boy was it cold, but after sometime it felt really good and refreshing. Just the best way to beat the summer heat. Another memory would be when we got rained on (by a lot of rain) at Buna spring. Although, it’s partly my fault, cause I asked Benjamin to do something about the heat —35C😂 (he probably asked the Bosnian gods) and there it is… rain, heavy rain.. to cool the weather down. Nothing to worry though, as Benjamin is to the rescue and got us in the car just fine. Overall, it is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. I wouldn’t suggest to skip this one in case you’re visiting.

  • Good tour but not much time in each place and inclusions not as advertised

It was a lovely day trip from Sarajevo, many places to see in a short time. The waterfalls being the main highlight. Mostar was nice but very crowded. The bridge is very slippery therefore I would recommend wearing trainers for this tour (I really struggled with sandals). Quite a lot of time spent on the bus but makes sense due to the distance covered. Unfortunately not much time in each location and it felt a bit rushed but still the tour took 12 hours, therefore it was the only way to see so many places on the same day. I gave 4 stars out of five because there were only brief descriptions of each places and I would have liked to learn more about the Bosnian culture. Also the advert said that wifi, water and snacks were included but they weren't. And also because we didn't visit the Dervish house but only saw it from the opposite side of the river.

  • Decent experience but itinerary may not match actual experience

Benjamin 5/5. Decent guide and driver, full of energy and positivity which is exactly what you need. That said, tour was 3/4 stars as itenary did not match the actual experience entirely and this is feedback for the operator, not Benjamin who did his best. Something for people to check with the company before they book as listed below. Here were things that didn't match the actual itinerary and description - 1) No wifi in car and no snacks or drinks both of which was mentioned to be included in the itinerary for the price paid. 2) No option to visit Dervish house. Sure it might not be the most exciting thing but the opportunity to visit it was not there as we only remained on the other side of the river. Overall a decent experience with some room for improvement the 5/5 stars would reflect the experience presented by the company as well as the drivers and guides are already great.

  • Nice day trip to see other parts of the country.

Probably the best way to see Mostar, the Kravice falls, with a few other added stops. Makes for a nice day trip. Two thumbs up for our guide, Milo.

Very comprehensive tour, ideal to see the main attractions of Herzegovina when you have limited time. Our guide Emir was knowledgeable and entertaining, I did another tour with him and loved both experiences.
