What To Expect

Travelers will begin a late-night trek to the summit of Mount Agung with a professional local guide, hiking under the stars through forest trails and volcanic terrain. Upon reaching the top before dawn, they will witness a spectacular sunrise above the clouds with panoramic views across Bali and, on clear days, Mount Rinjani in Lombok. The agency's communication was great, and our driver was perfectly on time. Our guides, Rudi and Kadek, were total professionals who knew the route inside out and always put our safety first. We had a truly memorable hike on Mount Agung, but be warned: this is a strenuous route. It took us about 7 hours up and 5 hours down, so you must be physically and mentally prepared

We had such a great time climbing Mount Agung! The guides were kind, patient, and even entertaining. Loved the halfway stop where they made a fire and tea—such a vibe. Transport from the hotel was smooth, and our driver Yuda was excellent. Overall, an unforgettable experience for those ready for the challenge!

Probably the hardest hike I’ve done so far, but totally worth it. Huge thanks to our guide Kariana—super patient and caring. She made sure we were okay the whole time and even helped me down safely after I got injured. She really knows the mountain well. You’re in safe hands with her!

Climbing Mount Agung is seriously fulfilling. It’s not easy at all, but totally worth it. Our guide Kadek was fun, professional, and supportive. Driver Dewa was also great. The summit view is once-in-a-lifetime. Just make sure to bring warm clothes! 100% recommend.

We had an awesome time with our guide Kadek super kind and helpful, plus great conversations along the way. We started from Pura Pengubengan. It’s a challenging hike but manageable if you’re fit. The views are insane. Communication with the host was also smooth. Definitely recommend!
