You will trek to the summit of Mount Batur where you will watch a magnificent sunrise while eating breakfast with excellent views of Lake Batur and Mount Rinjani. Then enjoy an exhilarating rafting adventure on the Telaga Waja River for approximately 2.5–3-hours covering a distance of 12km.

What To Expect

Take an active full-day tour on Bali that includes a sunrise trek to the top of Mount Batur and a white water rafting trip on the Telaga Waja River. See Lake Batur and Mount Rinjani after a 2-hour hike to the top of Mount Batur, then splash through class 2-3 rapids during your 3-hour rafting trip. For our last day in Bali we chose to do the Early Sunrise trek up Mount Batur Volcano. We would like to say a big thank you to our driver Made, he arrived promptly, was very friendly and we enjoyed hearing about the local area. The sunrise was beautiful, what a view! it was definitely worth it after the steep climb we had to get there, the breakfast was also greatly appreciated at the top. After the trek we went White Water Rafting, again our driver did an amazing job, drove us there safely so we could start our final activity promptly. We would definitely recommend this trip, it was an unforgettable experience 👌

New experience to climb a mountain in the night with only flashlights, exhausting, but every step was worth it. Fantastic view around sunrise. Lovely guide, breakfast was good. The rafting was absolutely amazing. Every Bali traveller should make that trip.

Very well organized tour, be prepared to wake up early, the hike is difficult bring good shoes( with grip). The sunrise was awesome to see and the rafting was awesome as well. Bring extra food if you get hungry easily. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They also helped us with some tips for our Bali shopping! Would definitely take the tour again!

At first, very good driver and he wait to pick up me from our hotel and drive to feel us comfortable. Trekking was also memorable activity for us and also hard for me. But with excellent tour guide leads to become easier trekking and after all finished, driver waits patiently for our coming and also drop off at our hotel

This was definitely our most exciting day in Bali! Our driver, Eka, was excellent. He kept in contact with our hotel so he knew where to go and was on time. He was always easy to find after activities and very patient when we wanted to look around. He was interesting to talk to and we felt very safe and comfortable the whole day. Thank you, Eka!!!

The entire tour was very well coordinated. We had a special guide for the hiking just to ourself. We were picked up at hotel at 1.30 AM and dropped back after the white water rafting.
Below are few tips if you are taking this tour
For the morning trek, make sure you get enough sleep the day before. It is a very challenging trek both on the way up and down.
Make sure you take jackets and are well covered as it can get cold on the way up.
For the river rafting., make sure you use a lot of sun screen. I did not and ended up with sun burn. The rafting experience was great though !
Do not take you phone/camera on the raft to click pics., you will almost ccertainly drop it in water. Use the safety bag provided by your instructor to put your phone / camera / wallet. you will be able to take pics atleast at the time of breaks.
The food after rafting is excellent ! you will relish it !
