What To Expect
Disconnect from the City buzz to slow down to nature pace. The hike is a loop of about 4 km/ 2.5 miles, it's a moderate hike with 200m/ 700 feet elevation gain, always adapting to your pace! I show you the area, local flora, fauna, culture and share with you the wisdom of the Oaxacan mountains. You will love - Amazing PANORAMA and City skyline - tasty food by a family restaurant - Relaxing ritual and meditation (cacao ritual, copal cleansing, grounding, offering)

5.00Six of us went on a hike as part of a bachelor party. Margaux promptly picked us up at our airbnb and took us for an incredible experience. It was a highlight of our trip! The hike itself was convenient to the city center and had gorgeous views and nature. What went above and beyond though were a series of ‘grounding exercises’ that added a lot of meaning to the experience and brought us bachelors together emotionally. It’s hard to put into words how meaningful it was for our trip but I am extremely thankful to Margaux and I hope to return for another experience next year. Would absolutely recommend Margaux to anyone visiting Oaxaca. She is lovely and it was a 10/10 experience.

5.00Margaux made this day a blessing!! it is an extraordinary guide: full of knowledge, very warm, spiritual and funny!!! She knows the local culture very well and we alternated the moments of discovery (she is passionate about ornithology and photography), ritual and relaxation. I absolutely recommend.

5.00Margaux was a wonderful guide. The hike we went on was beautiful. She pointed out all the natural vegetation and birds along the way. We ended in a peaceful open space where we did grounding rituals. Would highly recommend Margaux for any experience in Oaxaca.

5.00We had a great time on this little hike in the mountains of Oaxaca! Our guide was warm, passionate and full of knowledge about nature, local traditions and the area. The pace of the walk was perfect, accessible to everyone, and the scenery was rejuvenating. Perhaps the most pleasant moment was the break to enjoy delicious local hot chocolate, prepared by the guide — a real treat after the walk! An authentic and soothing experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover Oaxaca otherwise. Thanks again to the guide for his kindness and love of sharing!

5.00Margaux made this a very special evening for us. We loved every minute. The hike was a bit strenuous (for us) but very, very worth the effort. Beautiful views, peaceful evening, and we felt that Margaux is our new friend. We may never see her again but will always remember her. Lovely hike!

5.00Margaux was a generous host with great communication, picking myself and a friend up to go hiking in the mountains surrounding Oaxaca for an afternoon. The tour included lots of thoughtful extras including a ritual at sunset, photographs we could take home and a great dinner at a local restaurant where her relationships with the local community enabled a comfortable and enriching experience. Highly recommend!

5.00I had a wonderful time with Margaux on this hike and spiritual experience. The walk was beautiful and very serene, and I enjoyed the local spiritual rituals along the way. The breakfast was also very tasty. This is a great experience for someone who wants to get out in nature and to also experience some local cultural customs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Margaux and highly recommend this activity.
