What To Expect
Ramboda Waterfall
There are four beautiful waterfalls, three that you will see close from the road and the final one that requires a short walk/climb (about 500 meters). It is a beautiful scenery and views, and you can also swim in the waterfalls.
Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden
You will see and learn about the local tea production process, including a guided tour inside the factory. You can also walk around in the tea fields and see the actual harvest. You will also taste the locally produced tea. The visit is either at Dambro or Blue field tea factories.

5.00We travelled from our hotel in Hatton down to Nuwara Eliya for this tour – and it was totally worth the trip. Our guide gave us one of the most memorable experiences we had in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared his passion for his homeland in a way that really captured us. During the day we got to learn a lot about culture, food and different places, and we got to see a beautiful waterfall. The day was filled with adventure from start to finish, but what really made the experience a five-star experience was definitely our guide – his dedication, warmth and willingness to share his knowledge made everything special. After a long day he drove us all the way back to our hotel in Hatton, something we appreciated immensely. We have not only made a fantastic guide but also a new friend who we look forward to seeing again next time we are in Sri Lanka. As an added bonus, he can actually also arrange transportation at really good prices. We have already booked our next trip with him to Arugam Bay. Many thanks to Krishna our guide!! 🤍

5.00We had an all day tour with Krishna exploring the waterfalls near Nuwara Eliya and the tea plantations. Krishna was very knowledgeable, professional and very lovely! He explained to us all about the recent history of Sri Lanka and it was very fascinating. We loved our day with Krishna so much that we booked him as a driver from Nuwara Eliya to Ella! He was again amazing. Very prompt, friendly and even drove us all the way into our accomodation (very small and rugged path). We will definitely be booking Krishna on our next visit to Sri Lanka!

5.00He was able to take care of me despite making a late-night reservation the day before. The driver showed me the post office, tea factory, waterfalls, etc., then drove me to the bus stop back to Kandy, waited with me until the bus arrived, and even called me to confirm that I had arrived safely at the time I arrived in Kandy. Highly recommended.
