Such a great experience from start to finish. Hands down the best thing we did in an action packed week in Queenstown that included paragliding, white water rafting, off-road self-guided buggy tour and a couple of e-biking adventures. The canyon itself is breathtakingly beautiful, such a special place. Can’t rate the team we dealt with highly enough - Jules, Jaap & Ross - absolute legends all of them! Thank you for putting the icing on the cake of a memorable week away with my daughter. If you’re contemplating this - just do it, you won’t regret it. Cheers team!

Big shout out to Dom, Ross, and Harrison for making it a sick day. Was an inclusive and supportive tour leadership group, catering to all skill levels. The day was well timed and planned, it was fun and physical, and lunch and snacks were provided. The experience covered some cliff jumping, abseiling, rock slides, hiking, beautiful scenery, and waterfalls galore. Couldn’t recommend this tour more for anyone interested in learning the ropes of canyoning.

If you even are looking into this tour, JUST DO IT! You will not regret it! This was probably the highlight of my NZ trip! Not only because of this activity but because of the amazing and outstanding guides, Dom (Dominic) and Stefan. They were full of personability and knowledge of the excursion and all around NZ. We chatted the entire 8-10 hour day and every minute was enjoyable. You get a delicious sandwich from a local shop. The views you see on this adventure is something magical! The repelling, sliding, and jumping off waterfalls is a rush of life you wont experience any other time!

Guide was on time picking us up, good communication with the office prior to the event. Jaap, our guide, was super knowledgeable, safe, and above all friendly and enthusiastic during the whole trip. Ooo la la!

Ross was knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time trekking the beautiful mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park. Definitely wouldn't have been as willing to jump into frigid water without such an encouraging guide! The group we went with was also a delight! The only previous experience both my partner and I have had with something like this was in Mexico and was very touristy and overcrowded, so wasn't sure what to expect. This was very much the real deal! We came across some locals who seemed familiar with the sport of canyoning and knew the guide, which made me feel even better knowing it is a hobby of his as well. If you aren't in good shape or have fear of heights and water, this isn't for you, but if you're interested in an exhilarating experience tucked away in some of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand, this is for you! They provided snacks, lunch, and thermal wet suits that made us comfortable throughout; it was only the very end of the canyon that we started to get cold. We did have a nice sunny day, so warming up was quick once we got out of the wetsuits. Overall, a beautiful experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Thank you Ross and Canyoning New Zealand for the care and dedication to your trade.

This is an excellent activity!! Easily a top 5 activity i have ever done! I would highly recommend. You should have at least a moderate fitness level and be comfortable over various terrain, but no real experience needed. Brig, our guide, was amazing! He made me feel so confident and comfortable, even doing some of the more "extreme " parts. Ask for him if you go. You won't be disappointed. The lunch you are given is great too! We did eat some before the adventure too since you don't eat until after you've finished. Wear your swimsuit under, bring a towel...also consider bringing dry under garments if you are not keen on riding back to Queenstown for 2 hours in a damp swimsuit. Absolutely fabulous!

We were so happy with our choice for this tour. Stephan or guide was knowledgeable and easy to spend the day with. We did very high jumps into canyon pools that we would never have done if we didn't trust him. The experience was better that we expected as we want to start getting into this sport and it was not just a touristy adventure but the real deal. It was only my wife and I on the trip so we wanted the full experience but they will adjust to your comfort level and experience so just do it.

An amazing full day experience! Stefan was our guide - very relaxed, funny, but limited risk in the best ways. He made the trip thoroughly enjoyable and we were able to take things at our own speed. A brilliant day and thoroughly recommend!

We recently completed the full day tour out to mt aspiring nat park, with Ross our guide. From pick up through to action park of the day and transfer back, Ross was excellent and full of chatter and loads of laughs. The day was loads of fun, a mix of walking, rock scrambling/climbing, slides and abseiling. My favorite section was one of the last parts with the climb and slide down to the bottom pools - great spot for pics. Water was a tad cold (even with the amount of layers on) but with amazing views and the awesome experience it was a small price to pay.
