Awesome day out at Mount Cook! The flight was amazing and our pilot Rob was so friendly and informative, we felt safe the whole time with him. When we arrived he gave us lots of options of things to do and the Kea point trail was beautiful. We loved our day out and flying with Glenorchy Air is a must do when you’re in queenstown! The whole experience was so well organised from pick up to drop off. Thank you, can’t wait to come back and do the Stewart island trip next

An absolutely incredible experience, well worth it! Two kiwis took their two Aussie friends and we all raved about it. Our pilot Annabelle was awesome, so friendly and professional. Our driver Ivan was welcoming & cheerful. The Southern Alps & Milford Sound from the air is breathtaking. The boat trip on the Milford Sound was beautiful, the scenery is stunning. If you get the chance, while you’re in Queenstown, don’t miss it. 💯 % Once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Glenorchy Air!!

This is a top shelf professionally run organisation. Right from booking I experienced friendly, attentive and personalised service. Our pilot Jim was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The planes are well looked after and comfortable. The ground staff do a great job. I loved all of it. Oh and the scenery was beautiful beyond imagination!

You absolutely HAVE to fly with Glenorchy Air when you’re in Queenstown. Hands down the best activity. Second time on one of their flights and I’d do it 10000 times if I could!! A massive thank you to our wonderful pilot Joseph and co-pilot Annabel, to Elliot, Emma, Katie, Joe & the rest of the wonderful team. You always go above & beyond and worked with us to offer an alternative when Milford Sound weather wasn’t working in our favour! I will never get over the incredible views of Mount Cook & how close you get to the mountains. I also loved how Joseph pointed out the mountains, lakes and shared facts about the area. It’s truly a special experience that will stay with me for a lifetime! If you do one thing in Queenstown, make sure it’s this as I promise you won’t regret it!

We encountered an amazing weather day at Mt Cook. Guided by Shaun from Altitude Tours and then delivered to the Mt Cook Airport where we were handed over to our pilot Isabel who was a great host and pilot. She gave just the right amount of quality commentary and even guided the plane left and right to give everyone first class views to Mt Cook. Exceptional!

I’ve done a scenic flight with Glenorchy Air to Mount Cook and combined it with heli hike on the glacier. This has certainly been a highlight of my trip. Having done several flights in both south and north island, I will certainly say that this one is by far the most spectacular! Very good service overall, timely pickup, proactive call with confirmation of the flight, nice aircraft etc. Special shout-out to Joseph, our pilot. Skilled professional, gave us a very smooth flight experience, great commentary on the way and been super service minded to accommodate all pick-up and drop-off for heli, hiking, coffee etc. to fit the preferences of the guests. And certainly ran an extra mile to give us the best angles and view points of glaciers, mountain tops, lakes while navigating. Thank you so much for the lovely day! 🤗

Our planned trip to Milford Sound was cancelled due to a poor weather forecast but the company offered an alternative flight over Frank Josef and Tasman glaciers and to Mt Cook. We stopped at Mt Cook airport and had time to explore the visitors centre. Marvellous experience and Michale the pilot was amazing

Isabel our pilot was a wonderful pilot and guide on our flight to and from Mt Cook. We had time to do the Kea walk have lunch and look at the museum in the time we were at Mt Cook.
