Depart Nairobi early morning . Drive to Mt. Kenya National Park entrance. Have some light snacks and lunch. Begin the trek through dense montane forest and bamboo zones, with chances to spot colobus monkeys, birds, and buffalo tracks. Attractions include lush forest trails, wildlife, cool climate, and the transformation from lowland to alpine scenery.

Begin summit push at 0300hr under the stars. Reach point Lenana by sunrise- the highest trekking point on Mt. Kenya. Take some awesome photos, soak in the views, and descend back down to second camp for breakfast and further down after for the days trek. attractions on day 3 include the epic 360 degrees views across Kenya's plains, Mt. Kenya peaks on a clear day and Mt. Kilimanjaro at a distance.
