Upon embarking on this unique excursion, you'll experience Swiss culture first-hand while immersing yourself in Switzerland's most mesmerizing landscapes. During this excursion, you'll experience five wondrous discoveries. First, float among the clouds as you ascend in a thrilling gondola lift ride. You'll then be guided to the highest peak of Mount Pilatus, where you can absorb breathtaking views of the surrounding Alpine peaks.
The adventure will continue by cogwheel to Alpnachstad, where you will explore the world's steepest railway track before unwinding on a scenic cruise through Lake Lucerne. Concluding your trip at Vitznau, you will journey up Mount Rigi via train to discover the region's historical heritage and oversee where Switzerland was founded.

Your guide will meet you at the Lucerne train station and whisk you to Mt. Pilatus Bahn
Prepare to soar among the clouds as you ascend up and beyond in an aerial cable cart, offering astonishing bird-eye views of Lucerne and its surrounding landscapes. As you proceed onward aboard a gondola to visit the former 1950s ski resort, Fräkmüntegg. Once home to a decadent spa house and bustling restaurants, the journey to Fräkmüntegg offers mesmerizing scenery and a rich history that our tour guide will unpack. Then on, you will have the wonderful opportunity to hop aboard a brand-new aerial cableway, a magical combination of a gondola and 'Dragon Ride,' where you'll discover the magical legend of Dragon Rock, adding a mystique touch to your trip.

2.00There was no description of taking a public bus twice. The tour guide Nicki was very nice The boat tour was a hotel commuter boat - not for site seeing. The train does not run u til late spring - but that was not disclosed. A very disappointing and o er priced tour. I would not recommend.

4.00Four of us paid around $350 each to see Mt Pilatus, Mt Rigi, and Lake Lucerne. Due to the weather, Mt Rigi was cancelled and the tour operator emailed us that iwe would each receive a 20% refund because of the cancellation. We have as yet NOT been given any refund. Seeing Mt Pilatus and Lake Lucerne were 5 stars. Our guide was just adequate. For someone with 5 years experience I was shocked by how unprepared she was. She was sweet but gave us bare minimum guidance and information. Because of that and no refund as of now I don’t recommend this tour.

1.00The tour we were taken on did not include Mt. Rigi. The tour guide told us he did not even think it was possible to do all three activities in the same day. The tour was also 17 people, although promised to be 15. And the tour was in English and Spanish. There was a lot of wasted time on an expensive tour for translations.

5.00Booked this tour on a Viking cruise extension bc this tour was much cheaper than the Viking tour and visited same sights. We were beyond pleased with our guide (I am embarrassed I didn’t get his name). Guide was so kind, patient and thoughtful taking pictures of our group and ensuring we made it to Mt Rigi summit in time for sunset. Most amazing sunset! He is very knowledgeable and gave so much information to us. Perfect balance of giving us space to see everything while also keeping us informed. He was very safe and conscious of ensuring our whole group stayed together in very busy areas. 100% recommend this amazing tour of the Lucerne region! It was the biggest highlight of our 2 week holiday.

1.00Terrible!! I never went on this tour. First it was booked for Wednesday morning ( I had ticket)so I went to Lucerne train station for 10:30 am tour No guide!!! I texted Viator and was told tour was for Thursday at 10:30am. So I went to Lucerne train station . NO tour guide!! I will never use Viator again!!

5.00Leighton is an amazing guide! He’s incredibly engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We spent an entire day exploring the mountains and lakes around Lucerne. His timing is impeccable - gondolas, lifts, trains and buses all without a hitch or wait! Incredible! We never felt rushed - what a relaxing day and the hikes were great exercise! Can’t thank Leighton enough for all the pictures and videos! He made us some memories of a lifetime! We also learned so much about the culture, history, food and interesting tips about Switzerland. Can’t recommend Leighton enough!!! ❤️❤️❤️

5.00Great tour guide in Rosa. Very knowledgeable about Switzerland and the mountains we toured. Kept us on time without feeling rushed at all. Even gave some recommendations for our next stop in Italy. Highly recommend if short on time to see both Mt. Pilatus and Mt. Rigi. No complaints.
Leighton was the most awesome guide...informed, personable and fun! Could not recommend him more highly.

5.00Could not recommend Leighton more highly! Our tour started in Lucern ending at the top of mountain Pilatus. Took Lake Lucern boat first followed by cog train to top of Mt Pitatus where we had a lovely lunch. Took a gondola back down the mountain. Best ever!
