Visiting Lucerne’s landmark mountain, Mt. Pilatus, is a must-do when you're in the Lake Lucerne region.
Start your trip at Alpnachstad or Kriens valley station and enjoy the 30 minutes ride with the world's steepest cogwheel railway (from Alpnachstad) or with the panorama-gondola and aerial Cableway "Dragon Ride" (from Kriens). At the top of Lucerne's landmark mountain, you can enjoy the great panoramic view over the Swiss mountains, Lake Lucerne and the city of Lucerne - either from the spacious panorama terrace outside or the cosy panorama gallery inside. After a few minutes, you can also reach one of the three peaks at Pilatus Kulm (Esel, Oberhaupt or Tomlishorn) and enjoy your walk in the Swiss mountains or on the Dragon Path. Pilatus is also called Dragon mountain because of the legends about a dragon living there - learn about these myths in the Dragon World at Pilatus Kulm.

We didn’t go on the cable car because of bad weather. However maybe I should change the rating. In regard to the service from Viator that was excellent. We were notified the day before so we had time to plan something else. They also were quick about refunding our money. I would use Viator for my next trip.

An Amazing Experience! Absolutely beautiful views of the Alps. breathtaking views from the top and the Toboggan is a must do! Be aware that this does not include the cost of the boat to the starting point. We took the ferry from Lucerne to Alpnachstadt. And then the bus home from Kriens. All in all an incredible day

I want to be perfectly clear. I was trying to book 5 tickets at Pilatus site which includes free parking. Ended up at Viator which didn't include the measly chf5 with my 390 order. Just another example to continue avoiding this tour company
