Cory was my tour guide and did an awesome job! Very knowledgeable and professional, but also easygoing, approachable, and clearly passionate about what he does! I went on the tour last week and had a wonderful time, seeing the beautiful trails, waterfalls, and scenic vistas while getting to know the other patrons. It was an amazing experience that everyone should try if they live at or are visiting Seattle!

Watch the weather. I dressed waaaaay too warm and roasted while outside. There is quite a bit of hiking so I would be prepared with appropriate shoes. I wore tennis shoes and was great.

Lucas picked us up on time, gave very clear instructions at each stop, was so informative, and kept the entire trip interesting. I think that the trip and views would be nice, but he truly was the key to the experience and it being so much fun. He is flexible and goes out of his way to accommodate every guest while somehow maintaining the trip timeline. You never know how the weather will act but he does an amazing job of managing the trip, giving adequate time and attention to each hike and stop along the way. He takes time from his own life to scout out the best places - that means a lot. It was a ton of fun learning not just about the Mt. Rainier and the surroundings, but also his own experiences, stories, and life. He doesn’t skimp on the entertainment. He tries to give true and accurate information and accepts guests’ input and conversation. And I spent a good portion of my free time (after hikes and while waiting for other guests to finish up) just talking with him and chatting. He truly is there to provide the best experience possible, no matter what the roads and trails bring. Thank you Lucas for making the trip better than I could have expected!
