We had a wonderful day exploring Mtskheta, Jvari, Uplistsikhe, and Gori with Misha. The trip was perfectly organized and filled with incredible views at every turn. Misha is an excellent guide—incredibly knowledgeable about Georgian culture and history, providing fascinating context to every site we visited. Beyond the history, it was just a genuinely fun trip! If you're looking for a guide who is professional, insightful, and great company, we highly recommend Misha.

If you are English speaking DO NOT take this tour: This was a mixed language group tour: Russian (8) and English (4). I didn't realise this at the time of booking - while it is noted in the description of the tour that it is "Live guide: Russian, English" it is not clear that the tour will be a mix of both. The result was that most of the commentary and exchange with the guide was in Russian ...say 45 minutes, with English then added on ..say 10 minutes. It also meant that the guide had to walk each 'sub group' through the subject matter, meaning lots of standing around and reduced engagement time. I don't begrudge the Russian speakers their commentary, it just became a detriment and reduction of value to the English speakers. Pick a tour which is a single language being your language.
