What To Expect
Experience the Thai traditional art of Muay Thai with our half-day training class. No previous experience is required as we will tailor to your ability. We are a boutique gym located next to the rice-fields in Chiang Mai. All equipment is provided and our trainers can speak English. Post-training enjoy a Thai lunch freshly cooked. 5.00Pretty good with half an hour warm up, half an hour technique and two rounds of training with the instructor. Need to be careful if going to the toilet as the tiles are very slippery after rain. Have informed the admin as I have a slip and pull my leg muscle. I was there for one class but most are living there for a few days of training. Lunch is good

5.00What a fun (but intensive) experience. This event was a favor to my son and he really loved it. If you want to do something like this, do it at this venue. You’re part of a small group, they arrange your transfer and they feed you. All in all a nice break in between all the sightseeing.
I loved the temples and the village of the giraffe women

5.00I loved it, it was incredible, I intend to return to Chiang Mai, there are different attractions, there are different times for those who like fights, there are gyms to train, Muaythai Stadium to see fights every day, there is the Giraffe Women's Village

5.00We did the 1/2 day Muay thai experience and had a great time! The location was great! Definitely better than any gyms in the city centre! People were really nice and lunch was tasty, healthy and plentiful! Pick up was punctual. The workout was great, you really get a chance to push yourself. Considering doing a longer bootcamp if we ever come back to Chiang Mai!

5.00Trainers are professional, kind and friendly. Even though I was a tourist, they tough me a lot of Muay Thai skills with enthusiasm. It was only a half day, but I was really addicted Muay Thai so I would like to try a few weeks consecutive training someday. Gym staff welcomed me with kindness and they served me a nice chikin dish after training. It's nice program to know Thai people and their culture.

5.00What an amazing place! I was there for 6 weeks and Loved every minute of being there! Going there completely new to mauy Thai I was a bit nervous but everybody there was amazing the trainers are all top class and will ease you in and show you exactly what is what at your own pace. It’s a great atmosphere and you meet great people. The aparatments are great loads of space couldn’t ask for more. The food is absolutely amazing and all the staff cannot do enough for you! If you’re looking to get fit, reset yourself or learn a new skill then I highly recommend this place and will be back next year!

5.00I had a fantastic stay at Gym Bangarang on the fitness boot camp. I stayed for just under 4 weeks and lost about 8kgs, leaving noticeably fitter and slimmer. The boot camp programme offers great variety so you never get bored. The trainers are knowledgable, friendly and always provide the motivation you need to train hard. The staff throughout the gym are an absolute dream and always looking to accommodate whatever you need. The villas are clean, comfortable and spacious too. The food was excellent too and I never went hungry. I can't recommend Gym Bangarang highly enough and would love to return.
