What To Expect
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is the main mosque in the Sultanate of Oman, showcasing traditional Arab architecture and insights on the Arab culture, featuring a huge, 20,000-piece library. A stunning building crafted from beautiful, white sandstone, the mosque has five minarets and a huge central dome – the surfaces of which are intricately decorated with classic geometric designs. The Mosque also features the second-largest hand-woven carpet in the world. Taking four years to be produced, it contains 1,700,000,000 knots and weighs 21 tonnes. Another major feature of the interior design is the chandelier above the praying hall – some 14 meters tall, it was manufactured by the lauded Italian chandelier maker, Faustig.
Royal Opera House
The Royal Opera House Muscat is Oman's premier venue for musical arts and culture. The opera house is located in Shati Al-Qurm district of Muscat on Sultan Qaboos Street. Built on the royal orders of Sultan Qaboos of Oman, the Royal Opera House reflects unique contemporary Omani architecture, and has a capacity to accommodate maximum of 1,100 people. The opera house complex consists of a concert theatre, auditorium, formal landscaped gardens, cultural market with retail, luxury restaurants and an art centre for musical, theatrical and operatic productions.

5.00The trip was amazing! The tour guide was friendly, set a fun and good atmosphere for all the tourists including myself. He explained the history behind everywhere we went. I faced my fears and swam between the caves, he was very helpful. Definitely will choose this group for my next tours.

He was extremely helpful in navigating at Wadi Shab and when we toured the Grand Mosque, Opera House, the Souq and the Palace, he allowed us to enjoy the sights while he taught us about the history and took pictures for us. Truly an incredible experience.

5.00It was my first time in Muscat and I wanted to remember this city. To do this, I reviewed many companies that are engaged in excursions and decided to stop at Gidoman . So, I didn't regret my choice and it was the coolest ride of my life. Our guide Ilya, talked to us very interesting information about the city sights. Most of all, I liked the Corniche Road and the old market. We took amazing photos against the background of snow-white beautiful buildings like in the tale of Aladdin. I want to say a huge thank you to the company Gidoman for what you do, I will recommend you to all my friends!
